Worked in earthquake re-construction in Japan for a year. One of my memorable long trips spanned from Kathmandu to Kuta Beach and included getting kicked off Mt. Was in the Exuma Cays last winter- brilliant Caribbean at its best! Love off the beaten path adventure but not opposed to a last minute cheap package getaway to the dirty south. That is, if it’s ***and the city is Budapest.On a typical weekend I am down for almost anything. Love wandering aimlessly in a previously unbeknownst part of town, gallery hopping, live theatre or a concert (a few faves from this year: Craigslist Cantata, Lumineers, Stereophonics), going for a hike (avec pic-a-nic & Catch the odd Whitecaps game live, sports on TV, no thanks. Contrary to popular belief, I am not solely an activity dynamo, and have been known to lounge occasionally, preferably with an old Kubrick/ Scorsese/ Stone/ Linklater flic, some cheese/grapes/chips&dip a big bold red or small batch brew, and mutual foot massages.Quotes I value: •Have the right tools for the job and you are 80% there (me) •I subscribe to the law of contrary public opinion.     No Doubt about it this is a first! I have not traveled this online dating road. Have been told that meetville is the way to go so here I am. I can't put in words how much I love my children. I have been divorced for six years and as each day goes by it does not get any easier to miss a day with them. Once again it is the little things, the everyday things as they walk through their lives discovering who they are that I miss. I am a very proud father and I don't think, well I know, that I will never get used to missing a single day of their precious moments. During this time I had two relationships that I would say meets the definition of the word. It has been just me for a while and I have enjoyed it. It has been good rediscovering myself , deciding who I want to be, what I want to do as I enter this new chapter in my life.. I also believe in most old fashion, traditional ways. I believe in magical, mystical, marvelous ways too. The Lady for me, well she would be just that, magical, mystical, special, beautiful in her own ways yet have the soulful, magnetic, groovy, sensual side as well. And all this in a very natural she cant help it kind of way. Together we would have that soulful, deep connection as well as being best friends walking side by side, hand in hand as equals. The simple fact that I am putting this out there should show I still believe that my soul mate is still out there. It has come time to actively search and put in the effort to find this special someone. However I will say that one of the biggest things I have learned in life is Patience. There is not a clock going off in my mind and soul whatsoever. I Believe, Truly, Madly, Deeply! In closing I am convinced, and there is NO Doubt in my mind that this will be the Greatest Adventure of all! Walking city market, downtown, the beach somewhere like that with groovy music all around, coming across a great table to enjoy a refreshing drink and satisfying dinner and then, who knows!
