Thanks for taking a minute to read my profile. I haven't been on here for about a year so I've updated a couple of things. To share a little about me, I'm looking for a lifelong marriage relationship. I'm stable, a gentleman, I'm considerate, hard working, career minded, love God and I like to have fun. My taste in music includes about every flavor from jazz to rock, Frank Sinatra to Keith Urban. I like piano, find fulfillment in consulting in various christian and secular forums, love a good work out, and like to catch an occasional Braves Game. Beach vacations are great and even the road trip itself can be amazing when in good company. A cool way to relax is a great cruise! I'm looking for a friend that is positive about life, loving and trustworthy. I'm great with you having children though I'm undecided about having one of our own. I think an amazing date is when you start talking and completely lose track of time. I think everyone should experience that at least once.     I am a man who works hard and loves people. I also love to relax at home. I keep my home and yard neat. When you own a home there is always something to do. I love working with kids and learners and I love my own children deeply. There is nothing better than when a child gives you the only thing they have to give. Melt my heart every time!I like nice drives and day trips...more of seeing all those people out there. It doesn't really matter what we are doing I know how to have fun. Even in the bad situations I make the best of it because that's what I am presented with at the time and darnit if I am going to be dragged down.Domestically I enjoy cooking and eating...and I enjoy cooking for others too. O.K. maybe too much cooking and eating LOL. Who doesn't like to eat right? Very few. I spent 10 years as a chef earlier in life and it still pervades my mindset. I guess domestic skills stay fresh because you don't really put them aside. I have done a lot of theater but not in quite a few years now. I love the arts and humanities and am open to exploring the breath and depth of the cultures of the world.I'd like to find an equal to build and share a life with. It's not easy the older we get. I've met a lot of great women and am grateful for that...for whatever reasons it hasn't worked out YET. It's tough with kids and careers and houses and distance and emotions and ...I'd really like to have a chance to let my guard down, be free and enjoy it. But the guard does not just get shed automatically and I am not as good as I would like to be at managing my boundaries. It's always a work in progress but I do try and articulate what's going on for me as best I can. Certain things have to happen over the course of time. The person I need to be with will be patient with me and communicate with me as I will do with her. She is intelligent self-aware and honest. She has good moral character and spirituality. the idea of a first date is quite simply to enjoy ourselves. Let's be real we can do that in a zillion different ways.
