About Me

I will not know a single person so looking to make a friend.I am a divorced father of two beautiful girls (ages 13 and 17). I was married for 14 years and have been divorced for 6 years. I can safely say that I am emotionally mature, and do not carry a lot of baggage. I also do not fear commitment. I simply do not want to be divorced again, and I have learned a lot in my experience and actually have a very clear idea of what I am looking for. I am well educated and have a good secure career. My family would describe me as intelligent, confident, highly motivated, dependable, supportive, loving, kind, and considerate. My friends would describe me as kind, caring, loyal, dependable, and loving. They would say I am a confident, take charge kind of guy with a huge, loving heart. I would give the shirt off my back for my friends and family. I have a large circle of acquaintances, but only a small circle of close friends. I would describe myself as the strong silent type. I am not by any means shy, but I do not desire to be the center of attention. I enjoy being social and make friends easily, (I am very likeable) but will admit I am not that guy who feels the need to talk to everyone they see. I can appreciate the same in a woman. I am just an average joe. I enjoy hiking, going to the gym to do weight training or spin class, running, and even have done yoga and liked it. I also enjoy going wine tasting, seeing live music, playing pool, or just finding a new restaurant. I will have to admit that I do enjoy staying home most of the time to relax.I appreciate a lady with a warm, and loving heart. She is kind, caring, and mature. She is confident in herself and emotionally mature (ie. Is able to solve relationship issues calmly and as an adult, does not have a ton of emotionally baggage, and is not afraid to commit to a long term relationship) Communication is one of the most important things in a successful relationship. She believes in family, is honest, very loyal, can carry on an intelligent conversation , has integrity, and a good sense of humor. Fitness is important to me and I try to eat healthy and try to stay in shape. I also find this attractive in a woman. Someone who takes care of themselves, takes pride in their looks, but at the same time is not overly vane or arrogant. I generally prefer to do coffee or one glass of wine for a first date. Something casual and non-invasive, or go do something fun, like play pool or go to a comedy show.
