I'm just a really nice, relationship oriented guy who is finding myself single again after a 20-year, monogamous relationship. I'm looking to date other relationship-oriented men, with the ultimate goal of finding someone that I fall madly in love with, and he with me. I am not looking for hookups or quick sex. Heading into NYC for dinner and a show, museums, nightlife or shopping is always fun. I enjoy all things relating to the outdoors. (Hiking, etc.) I am an animal person, and I have 4 dogs, (all Pekingese,) whom I spoil and treat like children. I have a fabulous group of friends whom I love dearly and am very devoted to. I usually prefer guys in the age range of 40 to 60, and tend to gravitate more towards white collar, professional men. It just seems that I have more common interests with men in this age range than I do with the younger guys. That being said, age is just a number and I wouldn't automatically eliminate someone just based on their age. (Or even their occupation.) Truth be told, I don't really care if you are a CEO of a company or a garage mechanic. Just be passionate about something in your life, (anything,) have a positive outlook, be responsible, and just be a "nice guy.” A nice, sweet guy will win me over every time! First dates can be tricky, as you only get one shot to make a good impression on the other person. I usually go with an upscale restaurant where we can experience great food, good wine, and be able to just leisurely talk and get to know each other in a somewhat intimate setting without feeling rushed, with the hopes that the we will both be put at ease. The second date, however, is where you now have the ability to be creative and plan something that is either based on the interests of the other person, or even possibly something totally unique, as long as it doesn’t push the other person out of their comfort zone.Having said all of that, I think every first date is different, and planned out on a case by case basis, with the main objective of putting the other person at ease, and having them feel comfortable, so that even if it turns out that you are not right for each other, you both still had an enjoyable time while on the date. So, I have been known to either step it up or tone in down, depending on the person and what I was able to learn about them beforehand.

This is me being REAL!! This is my third time putting a profile on meetville after taking a couple of months off and nothing ever changes here!! People do the Meet Me, say they wanna meet you, you wanna meet them so you message them and nothing. What is this game?? How does anyone meet anyone if you don't take chances. Are people really that scared or uptight to take a minute to meet someone new, be it friendship or more??Everyone is looking for that one, but how you going to find that one if you don't reach out to anyone!!
