Professional, Educated gentleman here. Prefer men who are balanced, educated, good head on their shoulders, similar interests, and are goal oriented. meetvilles policy regarding being within 15 years and not being able to contact someone because they believe its all about hooking up is completely wrong and asinine. If you're younger that 28 and over 20 and are interested in talking, maybe something serious either as friends or more and have yourself in a good place/put together, (something apparently meetville thinks is impossible) then contact me separate from here. The *** at aol.; getting settled and work are my #1 priority. Looking to meet people, but not interested in 3ways, etc. Typically interested in people around my age or younger. My work & the occasional travel with it happily carries over into my personal life - understanding this is important. My interest include Cooking, Hiking, Comic Books, History buff, Languages, Music, Education... old movies and classic tv shows... dinner and drinks, the occasional movie... very involved in music. Also very interested in readings on history in general, especially religious history. I'm just at home having a drink at a sports bar as I am at a lounge or pub. Coffee or a drink out is a good way to start things off, and I'm pretty flexible for the circumstances.

Looking for: man. In age: 42-52

Hi there.I'm really not sure how people would describe me, and for the most part I am OK with that. I have always been known as a creative guy, silly, compassionate, and a lover of living things - did I mention silly? I like animals - even the ones I'm scared of. I love people - they are my species. I try to live a genuine life and therefore often do not fit into the typical Gay molds. I am not a scene guy and got the bar scene out of my system in my twenties. Somehow I now find myself in my 40s and baffled how that happened--when did that happen? I am lucky because my hobby is also my job. I've worked hard to make my passion that much of my life. With that being said, I am very engrossed into my work. This is one of the reasons I must stop and look for companionship. My work is mostly rewarding when I can share it on a deep level with someone I love.I love entrepreneurs (I've owned several businesses) and I think that kind of spirit is exciting and I approach many situations in life with those ideals. I am not religious, but would most closely identify myself as "paganish." I am on a quest for life-long learning. I want, very much, to travel and experience theatre in many countries. My taste in music is strange at best. I like a lot of music - I've never really understood country music and I don't care for the cross over artists. Music, however, is not a passion and I easily gloss over it.Oh, and I am currently dieting, not only did 40years of age creep up on me, so did the weight. So, I am working on becoming happier with my body - and healthier. I could use some help on this journey too. I have been vegetarian for almost a year now, but lack the social life for physical activity (prefer social activities to just working out). I like walking/hiking, riding bikes, Frisbee- these sorts of things. I'm not really sporty, but willing to try and support if nothing else.I don't think I have to like and do everything my partner does. Actually I think we should have some different interests and some the same, and always looking for new/more....and here is something else - if you are a hunter or a killer of things - we don't match. Pretty casual really-- a meal and conversation- a movie or better yet a play- dessert and more conversation- compassionate hug to end the night with respect - and hopefully a new friend found.- Communication is a must.(I don't sleep around and don't participate in casual sex - I don't understand it)
