Honesty and respect are extremely important to me, and they should be for you as well. You should be career oriented and have future goals to strive for independently, as well as with a partner. However, if you are genuinely different and you can prove it with actions and not just words, then bring it on. I guess this really depends on the person and the situation. It can range from something simple such as grabbing a bite to eat and/or a drink and good conversation to something really adventurous and mind blowing that will really leave an imprint in both of our minds that would be a historic first date.
