Man. 44 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: woman. In age: 41-51
I'm basically an easy going guy most of the time and would describe myself as being: intelligent, respectful, kind, romantic, decent sense of humor, shy, outspoken, warm, exciteable, pasionate, gentle and articulate. I like to have fun but know when it's time to be serious. Looking for someone to spend time with and enjoy one another's company. Open/direct communication is importamt to me. I tend to get along best with people who have an apreciation for the arts in general, be it music, theatre, literature or anything else. I'm not crazy about the bar scene- it's fun every once in a while but for fun I'm more likely to take a hike or find a good film to watch. My sense of humor ranges from the intelectual to warped and most stuff in between including the dark and twisted. I love political satire like the sketches SNL does- also wacky whimsical stuff like Montey Python. One of my main interests is music, I play guitar, sing and write songs. I was in bands in the past but nothing more than the occasional open mic these days. I like all kinds of music from Mozart to punk rock, especially indie bands and power pop.I love films, some of my favs are: K-, The Squid and the Whale, Wedding Crashers. Some of my favorite authors are: Kurt Vonnegut Jr. Also interested in martial arts, I have trained in Japanese karate and Jiu-Jitsu, they are lots of fun and maybe I'll start some more training if I find a good school. I like motorcycles, I have an old honda that I like to ride around in the summer. For religion I put other which is misleading but it's the closest thing that fits me. I consider myself spiritual, not religious. I mostly like eastern philosphies like Taoism and Buddhism but find they fall short sometimes. I find that all religious doctrines usually have some parts I can embrace. I enjoy conversations about: psychology, society, corporate and political structure, literature, music, pop culture, films etc. Some other random things I enjoy are: skiing: x-country and downhill, travel, trips to NYC or the ocean, hiking/camping/backpacking, yoga/tai-chi, kayaking, science/nature documantaries, rollerblading, bicycling, triviaFor body type I put average but more accurately I would say both "athletic" and a "few extra pounds". I'm looking for someone intelligent with a warm heart, emotionally available, passionate and of course the all-important chemistry. Someone who knows the value of respect. A first date should be casual, just a chance to meet face to face and see if you enjoy the person's company. Grabbing a coffee is good for that.

We're all seeking that special person who is right for us. But if you've been through enough relationships, you begin to suspect there's no right person, just different flavors of wrong. Why is this? Because you yourself are wrong in some way. But it takes a lot of living to grow fully into your own wrongness. And it isn't until you finally run up against your deepest demons, your unsolvable problems- the ones that make you truly who you are- that we're ready to find a lifelong mate. Only then do you finally know what you're looking for. You're looking for the wrong person. But not just any wrong person; the right wrong person- someone you lovingly gaze upon and think, "This is the problem I want to have."I will find that special person who is wrong for me in just the right way.Let our scars fall in love. Meet for drinks or a smoothie if you are a non-drinker. Maybe dinner at a place neither of us have ever been before. Create a new memory.
