I took some time off from dating and now I am free to start again and be "ME". Well, Actually ***years. I met a great lady online before. It didn't last, but it taught me many things about myself and who my partner will be. Communication, respect, and being prepared to blend families MUST be present to make things last. Not getting lost in the relationship, and still being “yourself” is also important.The biggest thing for me is/was communication. If you don't talk and share your needs, wants, concerns, and desires with me, I won't know how to please you and we won’t be able to deal issues and problems. Yes, some of it is common sense, but a lot, is not. I am not a mind reader! Without communication, mistrust and resentment grow and will destroy a relationship. So, if you can't communicate, then move on. If you can, continue reading....I am a good guy who is willing to work through the tough times and share the good ones that WE make. Being "me" means being “fit” emotionally and physically again. I’m little wiser... I love kids, I love to try new things, and I love people in general... Respect begets respect...Here’s what I wrote 3 years ago-It’s truer today more than ever…“I was born and raised here in So Cal...I don't think there are many of me...Everyone seems to be from somewhere else. But, that's what makes LA such a great place to make friends and... I am open to friendships (the best relationships start here, don't they?), dating, and or a long term relationship. If there is no romantic connection, I always have room for more friends.Me: I'm an athletic man who keeps his mind and body in shape; I enjoy experiencing other personalities, cultures, and places. I am care-free, romantic, affectionate, and considerate. I am well-educated, career-oriented, emotionally mature, and enjoy balancing my personal and professional lives.Although I am ambitious and outgoing, I also carry strong family values. I appreciate the simple things in life but at the same time I enjoy the finer things hard work and a good mind can bring you. I’ve always been open-minded that way. While I'm proud, I'm also sensitive and responsible. I look for solutions, not problems. I'm probably blunt by comparison to most but that’s why I'm always honest, to-the-point, and you'll never have to guess what I'm thinking or feeling.I really love good conversation, listening to new ideas, experiences, as well as enjoying the outdoors. My idea of a good time might include any number of things: dinner, good conversation, movies, a play, dancing, or just watching the sun set at the beach; sometimes with friends and sometimes just with you. It all depends on how we mesh as friends or a couple.You: The women of my dreams would be intelligent, open, and not one dimensional - SOMEONE WHO CAN COMMUNICATE THEIR THOUGHTS AND IDEAS - A lady who values traditions even as she lives in the present and for the future. My girl is physically stimulating; intellectually and spiritually passionate. She is comfortable in jeans and flops as well as dressing up for a romantic dinner. She likes the beach and the ocean and appreciates the beauty of the mountains. Physical attraction is important to me, but not as much as a POSITIVE ATTITUDE and a GOOD HEART. She takes care of herself...Even her toes... (lol) Has a sense of humor (get it?), is adventurous and outgoing, but also can be relaxed and "laid back"... I love sharing someone’s time and energy. As well as my well-being, being important, the well-being of others is really important to me. Basically, I'm hoping to meet my best friend, lover, and confidant. If the stars don’t line up for us completely then having another friend in my life is just fine with me... It all depends on the chemistry and conversation that follows...So let’s see... Something simple where we can bet to know each other better... Coffee, lunch, dinner, drinks...
