Where have all the good girls gone? I am 43 years old gentleman, misplaced cowboy. I am in the medical field and firearms industry. Thanks!My two biggest passions (besides my daughter) are travel and live music. For music, I used to say I liked everything but boy bands and god has punished me with a girl who loves 1 Direction. Update: the show was great.....had I known that the girl guy ratio at boy band shows was ***:1, I would have been a HUGE New Kids fan n the 80's!!!As far as music I really enjoy, Americana/y'alternative, singer songwriter, garage/college rock, english rock, 90's alternative (really alternative not the cheesy rock that called itself alternative). I prefer to see bands in clubs or small theaters but will go to an arena for a some of the geriatric rock like KISS and The Stones. I actually ran a live music club for 4 years and managed bands during one of my life's detours during the 90's when many of the biggest bands today were still touring clubs......fun detour!!What I'm looking for is the same thing as many people. First and foremost, someone who is family oriented. I'd either like to find someone with a child or someone who wants to have a child because i don't want a house with only 1 child. Secondly, and not unimportant, someone who also wants a grown up relationship that is romantic and fun. Also important is someone who enjoys entertaining. I have a yard that I've worked on for years and it would be nice to have people over more often.So that's all for now. (Have a life, career and be able to support yourself.)-I can't believe I have to say this but you think because I work in a children's hospital I can get you a job or get your kid treated for something. It's not that I wouldn't do that (esp for a kid) but that should NOT be the reason you want to date me.-if you are being deceptive in your profile in any way. This includes age, weight, education, number of kids, etc. Trust and honesty are HUGE with me, After a few dates I've learned that the first date really needs to be a meet and greet over coffee/tea or maybe a glass of wine. With that, I'll talk about the second date. In my mind, all good dates include some sort of live music. It could either be blues/jazz in a small club, a guy with a guitar at a bar or a better known artist at a small venue. City Winery and The Bell House are my favorites but there are a number of other cool places in town......it is NYC!

On here to see what happens and where things go:I could easily say that I'm tough and rugged yet sensitive and the world's greatest handyman...a knight in shining armor fairytale type of a guy but the truth is I'm just a guy who's getting tired of being alone...i have a big heart that i wear on my sleeve and i'm not afraid to live life. life is a gift to be enjoyed and not a problem to be solved. i went to college when i was 33 because i was sick of working dead-end factory jobs where everyone is a miserable robot. i like animals so i majored in conservation ecology and minored in natural history. i have worked with both black bears and gray wolves and currently manage a wildlife sanctuary. I bust my ass for things I believe in and take pride in all I do. although i've a restless spirit this lifestyle is slowly becoming tiring and the want/need to "settle" down is creeping up on me. but for now i would be perfectly happy finding someone that just wants to hang out from time to time, have a few laughs, go to a movie, or have a crazy adventure over a weekend...and see where things go from there.i'm a goofball. i like to laugh and make others laugh. i have an odd sense of humor. i get a kick out of the simple things in life. i'm only serious when i need to be. i like cheap beer and cheap wine. campfires and howling wolves put a smile on my face. one tattoo wasn't enough so i'll stop getting 'em when i'm finished. cannery row was possibly the greatest book ever written. thin lizzy and the ramones are my rock n roll heroes. i want to see the entire planet. maps and globes are my television sets. my imagination knows no bounds...
