Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 45-55

I am a petite, toned and tan lady who is fun loving and easy going. I hold a very good job by day but like to go out occasionally during the week. Of course, I live for the weekends. Who doesn't! I am responsible in all the ways that matter and silly when it comes to having fun. I work out regularly so physical activities are good with me. The more physical, the better. I would like to hike. Have a cool mtn. bike. Can ride it ok but would like to learn to ride it better. You should know that I'm definitely a little bohemian around the edges. Love art, music, wine, festivals, hugging, dancing. I'm fairly creative. Can oil paint and I have a groovy little jewelry business on the side. Adventurous also. I like fishing. I'm not much of a camper, but would considerr camping with the right guy. I'm free spirited. I am not looking for a permanent relationship but I'm not looking for a one night stand either. Something in between, hopefully care free and fun. I'm an original and a good energy person. kind and gentle. I don't have a laundry list of requirements. Most important to be tolerant, mindful of the impact you have on others and please..walk the path of a true human. Fitness oriented is a big plus. I like younger men! who are tall.....that's all......... hike, meet for drinks, food, etc. something that allows us the opportunity to talk and get to know each other

Looking for: man. In age: 45-55

I love to spend time with family and friends. The group of friends that I choose to surround myself with are friends that I would consider family. My friends would describe me as shy at first but once you get to know me I'm very fun. I am a very honest, loyal person with high morals. I have what I would call a dry sense of humor and like to make people laugh. I am a girly girl, but have always liked to play with the boys. I work hard and like to have a good time. I am financially secure and I love what I do for a living. I take pride in my 2 daughters and where they are now in their lives. They have been my world for the past 6 years and now it is time for me to find my new place in this life. I am not the type of person that is comfortable in putting myself out there, but figured I'm not getting any younger :) My first date would be just a quiet evening out getting to know each other over a glass of wine or beer.

Here are a few things about me: I'm pretty shy at first and a bit old fashioned, these two things combined make it very unlikely that I will make first contact. I believe that honesty is a must, once trust is compromised, it's almost impossible to restore. I think that anyone who says, “Looks don’t matter”, is lying. Everyone has their own idea of what they find attractive, and no one is ever going to walk up to a person they find completely unattractive and try to get to know them. I also think that being ugly on the inside can make you unattractive on the outside pretty quickly, no matter how cute or hot you are from afar. I think that strength and independence in women, and tenderness and sensitivity in men, should be cultivated. I love a good debate, and consider myself well versed enough in most social subjects to be a good verbal sparring partner. A good sense of humor is a must. I, myself, have more of a dry wit. I am originally from the LA area but love it here. I have spent most of my adulthood building a stable home life for my kids. Now that they are grown, it's time for me to have some fun. Although my profile says I don't want children, it doesn't mean that I don't like children or that you can't have any. I own my own home and enjoy working in the yard when the weather is nice. Cooking is one of my favorite things to do but have to admit that I'm not real excited about the cleanup afterward. I love watching horror movies, going to comedy clubs, and concerts. I like most types of music except for Country and Jazz. I am strong when I need to be but prefer to show my softer side. I'm not interested in meeting someone that over indulges in alcohol. Please don't contact me if you do ANY drugs, it's not my thing. My favorite sport is hockey but I will also watch football. I enjoy other sports if I can be there live. I love a reason to dress up because I do not get to very often, but am just as happy in jeans and a t-shirt. "I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you."— Friedrich Nietzsche...I think that this pretty much says it all. One last thing, texting and e-mail are ok for initial contact or a quick question/statement but anything beyond that is just asking for trouble. There is way too much room for misunderstanding during text and/or e-mail. Pen pals are for inmates, and since I’m not one and hopefully neither are you, let’s not try to carry on full conversations by e-mail or text. I think a first meeting should be limited to an hour long. If there is a mutual attraction, then it gives us both something to look forward to, but if not, then no one has to sit there thinking of a polite way to bow out early. Coffee or a drink, something simple.
