About Me

I've been told that I am creative enough to survive stranded on an island with only a toothpic and duct tape! I try to make the most out of simple things. Love to go camping, boating, creeks, rivers, or the beach. I try to take my kids camping a few times a year, we ride bikes, and spend time at the beach or fishing in a creek/river. I have a soft spot for animals and old people, not sure if that is a good or bad thing, but it's the truth! I value honesty and communication. Would like to spend time with a man that enjoys laughter, avoids drama, and doesn't have any "mommy" issues. No time for fussing and being angry over trivial things......life is too short, got to laugh and enjoy it! I am a bit "out of shape" and looking to change that. I'm not a weakling by any means, but could use some toning. I spend a lot of time with my kids and their sports activities, but love to go for some adult fun, too! I'm easy to please when it comes to dining......I enjoy quaint little places, but also shine and sparkle in a fine dining atmosphere. Music......almost any, NO RAP! I have done many things in my life, as far as career, and always try to improve......one can never be too smart. I've made little money and I've done better, but I don't live to make money......I make money to live!

    Looking for the right words to describe myself.....I guess I would say I have a great sense of humor,honest,caring and witty. I look terrible in pictures.     I really think they need an option for dating with potential for longterm. I tend to be pretty low key, low maintenance and the listener rather than the talker....I try to live an active life, not all consuming busy but enough to keep me off the couch. I enjoy an afternoon on the golf course if the weather is good or an afternoon with a bottle of wine and a movie if it isn't. In the summer I also like to get out for a walk or puttering in the garden. In the winter I enjoy reading, curling or baking up a storm, I really need someone around to eat it :)The last couple of years I have been bitten by the travel bug. I have gotten a taste of Europe and hope to return soon. I have fallen in love with active travel and hope that the next big trip has a great mix of relaxing and being active...perhaps a bike tour of wine country somewhere. Or maybe a walk around Quebec City. Hey the world is a big place and is full of options.I think I have a pretty great sense of humour but I guess that is all a matter of opinion. I also think I am a good driver... All in all, I have a pretty great life. I just got the dog I have wanted for years, a new new house but it is missing someone to share it all with.
