Woman. 43 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.
Looking for: man. In age: 40-50
So, a little about me... ... ... Lol! So I guess first off I'm a mother. And a grandmother. But I'm really not THAT old. ;) So I spend a lot of time with my younger son and grandson riding bikes, playing a little basketball, jumping on the trampoline, baking cookies, that kind of thing. But I also enjoy having a little free time where I can get out and be with other adults! Which could involve going out to eat, (LOVE Chinese!), concerts, band at a bar, comedy club, bowling, bonfires, camping, grilling out... as far as music my favorite would have to be classic rock. The 80's ruled!!! :) I also like some newer groups like Nickelback.I really prefer warm weather and love to be outside when it's nice. I'd much rather do yardwork than housework! I also don't mind tackling home improvement DIY projects, but it would probably be easier if I had a clue what I was doing sometimes! As far as what I'm looking for, I'm really not sure. Guess it would depend on what (who) I found. :) My profile says divorced, but that has been several years. I had a serious relationship with a wonderful guy who died suddenly almost 3 years ago and it's taken my a while to work through that. I miss having that special person in your life to talk over the days little events, that person that really cares about you and wants to know all the little details. I'm doing fine on my own but I do miss that closeness and feel like I'm ready. A good sense of humor would be a definite bonus! :)

I have a lot of interest but strongly believe it is the company you keep that makes things interesting. I love pretty pictures, lasting memories, candid moments... love it more when I take them. I'm selling my house... and haven't decided where I will live once it has sold... because I can. I'm very independent and not seeking someone who needs a keeper. I don't need... I want.... need comes after a friendship & real relationship. I like Harleys & tattoos, high heels & flip flops, blue jeans & dresses, camp fires & candle light, holding hands & soft kisses, laughing a lot & crying when it hurts... I can go on & on but it takes the fun out of discovering a person. If you have to convince me that your old enough or you are a mature man... then you really aren't. I won't date or talk to you if I'm not interested or you are closer to my sons ages than mine. I'm shallow & believe a physical attraction & chemistry must exist... or maybe I'm not shallow & I really do know what I want. I can come up with a lot of creative ideas.

Decided to give dating one more try. Does anyone really find the right one on these places? I have met some really cool people, but I have also met a lot of losers too. I am a pretty positive person and am rarely serious. I love to laugh and make other laugh. I have a good sense of humor and tend to be quite a smart ass. I have a morbid sense of humor at times...which I attribute to my job...and I can cuss like a sailor. So if you want a straight laced, no fun kinda gal, then I'm not the one for you! I can be quiet at times though too.I grew up on a farm, so I like the outdoors. I like to watch movies and tv as well. When I am not doing that, I have my nose in a book of some sort. LOVE my Kindle! I like to camp and fish, go to movies and out to eat, road trips and trying new things. My taste in music is all over, but prefer heavy metal, 80's....basically rock of any kind. I am kind of picky on my country music. I have been a single parent for a long time. I figure I can fix anything if I have a book on the subject. I do have kids, but 2 of them are adults now....which makes me sad cuz that means I'm getting older! I am a bit on the heavy side, but am trying to lose the weight. That does not mean I'm a complete health freak. I can't stand them! LOL I say, if you want some chocolate, have some! LOL My mottos in life are: Everything happens for a reason....and....Something good always comes from something bad. I have been through a lot in my life and it has made me a stronger person for it. I don't use it as a "cop out" to get things or for a reason to not be a contribution to society. I'm also not a "do as I say, not as I do" person. If I'm not willing to do something, I don't expect anyone else to either.I have a great job that I absolutely love. I work rotational shift work, so that creates a problem with my personal life. If you are an impatient person, I am probably not the woman for you as I may not have every weekend off and I work most holidays. I am dedicated to my job and have goals that I am working towards. I have given up lots of time to be there for my co workers when they needed time off. Sometimes I'm called into work on short notice on my days off, or times I have worked a double shift. I don't mind, I knew what I was signing up for and I love the job. This is just a heads up for anyone that wants to get to know me. I'm not always at work and I do have time off, don't get me wrong there. If you are interested in getting to know me, please send me a message! I might just be the one you are looking for! First date should definately be in a public place. Meeting for coffee or lunch would be good for starters....maybe even a picnic in the park! Everyone does the dinner and a movie, but you cannot talk and get to know eachother in a movie theater. You could go out for a drink, but sometimes people get nervous and drink too much in a case like that. Then you only get to know the drunk side of that person...lol. But that is an option as well.
