Are you looking for an energetic, fun-loving companion to share your life and love with? I could be that girl ;-) I'm a graphic designer so I enjoy most things that involve the arts like concerts, movies, street art fairs or visiting an exhibit at a museum. I'm open-;twerking" ;-). Healthy body and mind is priority which I achieve via diet, exercise, and a little meditation. FYI I'm also a vegetarian and quit eating meat over 2 years ago for health reasons. However, I don't expect my date to share my dietary choices - just to respect it and not judge. What makes a man attractive to me is one who is outgoing, articulate, sexy, fun and can light up a room with his positive energy. He's well-groomed, smells good and changes his undies every day ;-) A sense of humor is a must! A mutual interest in the arts like movies, theater, music is also desirable. Openly affectionate and embraces his sensitive side. Respectful of each others' feelings, opinions, lifestyles and time. Knows that you can gain influence people more using compassion than ruling with an iron fist. In love matters, he may have had his heart bruised in the past but he's still open to the possibility of finding committed, lasting love again. Must be emotionally and physically available for a relationship (i.e. not separated, married or still carrying a torch for another woman, or looking for a long distant relationship). I've been able to work through my relationship blocks and expect the man that I date to have worked through his too.     My friends would describe me as someone who loves life. I love to bring people together to enjoy good food, great converstion and great times.     Decided to give dating one more try. Does anyone really find the right one on these places? I have met some really cool people, but I have also met a lot of losers too. I am a pretty positive person and am rarely serious. I love to laugh and make other laugh. I have a good sense of humor and tend to be quite a smart ass. I have a morbid sense of humor at times...which I attribute to my job...and I can cuss like a sailor. So if you want a straight laced, no fun kinda gal, then I'm not the one for you! I can be quiet at times though too.I grew up on a farm, so I like the outdoors. I like to watch movies and tv as well. When I am not doing that, I have my nose in a book of some sort. LOVE my Kindle! I like to camp and fish, go to movies and out to eat, road trips and trying new things. My taste in music is all over, but prefer heavy metal, 80's....basically rock of any kind. I am kind of picky on my country music. I have been a single parent for a long time. I figure I can fix anything if I have a book on the subject. I do have kids, but 2 of them are adults now....which makes me sad cuz that means I'm getting older! I am a bit on the heavy side, but am trying to lose the weight. That does not mean I'm a complete health freak. I can't stand them! LOL I say, if you want some chocolate, have some! LOL My mottos in life are: Everything happens for a reason....and....Something good always comes from something bad. I have been through a lot in my life and it has made me a stronger person for it. I don't use it as a "cop out" to get things or for a reason to not be a contribution to society. I'm also not a "do as I say, not as I do" person. If I'm not willing to do something, I don't expect anyone else to either.I have a great job that I absolutely love. I work rotational shift work, so that creates a problem with my personal life. If you are an impatient person, I am probably not the woman for you as I may not have every weekend off and I work most holidays. I am dedicated to my job and have goals that I am working towards. I have given up lots of time to be there for my co workers when they needed time off. Sometimes I'm called into work on short notice on my days off, or times I have worked a double shift. I don't mind, I knew what I was signing up for and I love the job. This is just a heads up for anyone that wants to get to know me. I'm not always at work and I do have time off, don't get me wrong there. If you are interested in getting to know me, please send me a message! I might just be the one you are looking for! First date should definately be in a public place. Meeting for coffee or lunch would be good for starters....maybe even a picnic in the park! Everyone does the dinner and a movie, but you cannot talk and get to know eachother in a movie theater. You could go out for a drink, but sometimes people get nervous and drink too much in a case like that. Then you only get to know the drunk side of that person...lol. But that is an option as well.
