Hey there! This is the first dating site I have ever tried. I was married for a long time, it ended...it took me awhile to get over it but I'm ready to try this now! My friend seems to have a lot of fun with it. About myself...I suppose my friends would say I am sweet and fun and easy going and adventurous...my co workers would say I'm responsible and conscientious...Re why I am on this site...I am open to meeting some local guys for some light casual dating... I do like travel...even local weekend trips...didn't do a whole lot of that while I was hitched so trying to make up for lost time - So what I am looking for in a guy...mostly just someone that is fun and cuddly and affectionate! Because otherwise what is the point right? Brown eyes are a huge plus. Salsa or swing dancers might be fun...I've done a little, I'm still beginning level but that could be fun. But mostly I'm just open to meeting new guys for fun lighthearted weekend activities. Well first date... It kinda doesn't matter what it is if you are with a fun cuddly affectionate guy right? :) Ok, first date...trying any new interesting restaurants or bars in LA or OC...other dates that aren't necessarily first dates could include...hiking...or going to Vegas....( I love shows! Cirque du Soleil or just about any shows) or doing local weekend trips...or trying any of the numerous activities on Groupon or Living Social or TravelZoo...or going to the movies ( you can never have too many movie buddies right?..or sleeping in and having a lazy Sunday and going to brunch the next morning...yeah that sounds about right.

So, a little about me... ... ... Lol! So I guess first off I'm a mother. And a grandmother. But I'm really not THAT old. ;) So I spend a lot of time with my younger son and grandson riding bikes, playing a little basketball, jumping on the trampoline, baking cookies, that kind of thing. But I also enjoy having a little free time where I can get out and be with other adults! Which could involve going out to eat, (LOVE Chinese!), concerts, band at a bar, comedy club, bowling, bonfires, camping, grilling out... as far as music my favorite would have to be classic rock. The 80's ruled!!! :) I also like some newer groups like Nickelback.I really prefer warm weather and love to be outside when it's nice. I'd much rather do yardwork than housework! I also don't mind tackling home improvement DIY projects, but it would probably be easier if I had a clue what I was doing sometimes!As far as what I'm looking for, I'm really not sure. Guess it would depend on what (who) I found. :) My profile says divorced, but that has been several years. I had a serious relationship with a wonderful guy who died suddenly almost 3 years ago and it's taken my a while to work through that. I miss having that special person in your life to talk over the days little events, that person that really cares about you and wants to know all the little details. I'm doing fine on my own but I do miss that closeness and feel like I'm ready. A good sense of humor would be a definite bonus! :)
