I really have no idea where to start with this. First, I'm a parent of three kids. So if that's a problem you may as well stop reading now. The youngest one is 11, so I've got a ways to go yet. During the week, I put in about 60 to 65 hours. Yes, I drive alot. But I'm home every eve.Not really into the bar scene, but will get out with friends or to see a band. Really into classic hit country music from the 80's and 90's. Normally a hard rock type. But I like whatever sounds good.Family and friends are very important. Holidays are big time. All the aunts, uncles, nephews, etc. gather. Probably want to keep this simplistic. Everyone wants to make a good impression on their first date. I would prefer something quiet so we can talk first. Like dinner or a drink. Try to get to know each other a little. If that goes well, we can step it up with a bike ride or some live music, bowling, pool, or whatever. I'm not getting drunk on my first date. There are many other things to do out there.

I don't need anything to "take the edge off" but I don't mind if you do. If at some point, we end up having a candlelight night in, I'll have some wine or 'ritas with you. The first date depends on what my date likes and where she'll feel comfortable. I don't have any expectations when I meet someone new. Dating is about giving to and encouraging the other person without expectations. When both people have that mindset, it works really well.
