About Me

I have decided to try again on meetville after many long months of disappointing attempts at trying to meet woman. The main reason is that the woman just didn't commit to meeting in person. i would chat a few times and even met a few nice ladies..but few ever decided to meet in person, and when they did we had no chemistry. So i am back to try again! I am a single father, a student, a hard worker, intelligent, inquisitive,and at a good point in my life. I am finishing my education, getting in shape after several years of dormancy..(mainly because of school).., and my daughter is at an age where she doesn't need all my attention. Therefore, i can devote some time to meeting nice woman. I have a wide variety of interests that include martial arts, jogging, yoga, and bike riding. i am an avid reader and have a voracious appetite for books and knowledge in general.i do love music, concerts, and road trips. I do go to meet friends for an occasional drink at the bar, and at times even like to go dancing. Even though most of my time has been spent with the basics of daughter,work and,school....i do miss female companionship. My pics are not the best and im in the process of updating them...sooooo hold tight! My goals are to get a job in my field after graduation..(only a few semesters away)..I'd like to teach or work in a museum setting, or even library science. I probably will go to grad school after graduation...i am undecided. I love to write and hope to finish a novel i have started in junior college. I would describe myself as an intellectual....thoughtful..pragmatic...intuitive... and sensitive. Yes i can have a temper, be pissy at times, and even have drama...(whoooaa..look out!) ,but everyone does. For the most part, i am very motivated to staying on track. my goal is to meet woman who are serious about the process of dating. You have to talk...and then meet and go from there. The internet makes it a smorgasbord of choices and if even one small thing bothers a person..they go on to the next! Gimme a break! No one is perfect...no one is drama free***no one is without issues. Honesty is key and communication has become a lost art. i encourage anyone looking to date to find that again! After a few messages on-line..lets talk on the phone if there's chemistry and go from there. dating takes effort. I'd like to meet over coffee, or a beer and just have a casual conversation. Its amazing how much you can find out about a person over a 30 minute conversation.!

Of course I would love to take a casual bike ride together, stop for picnic at a beautiful spot in the woods or by water and get to know each other. I understand that not everyone one out there likes to bike, so I'm totally open to anything.

    I’m totally comfortable in my own skin and confident but not arrogant. I don’t play games, and I will make you laugh your a*** off 100% of the time we are together. And even when we are away from each other, you will still be giggling under your breath as you replay my hilarious comments in your mind…Okay that’s all only partially true, but apparently those are the most often listed requirements of a man on this site so I thought I'd throw those in. In truth, I am confident, but doubt myself on occasion. I don’t intend to play games, but have caught myself getting sucked into them more than once. I’m funny a lot of the time, and some of it is intentional, but some days I just don’t have it. I’’m only medium-sized outdoorsy. I try to enjoy life as much as possible without forgetting the responsibilities that come with being all grown up. That said, I try not to worry about the things I can't control. I don’t really have a laundry list of what I expect out of my match since, in the end, life will likely serve up someone totally unexpected, and I think that would be kind of nice. I’m looking for someone to take hikes with on weekends. Someone who will listen and can also teach. A friend would be great, a companion better...and a willingness to see where it goes from there would be best. I like to keep things very casual to start. In fact, I'm totally fine with making the first date more of a first meeting with friends. The advantage to you is it's reeeaaaalllly easy to bail out of the date if you think I'm a dork.
