My oldest (whom I call the bearded one because of his abundant facial hair - I am so proud - and lucky! He, unfortunately, will not be moving with me - My youngest are 7 and 9. I call them the 'wee ones'. They are my life. My princess is absolutely adorable and I am glad that the grandparents have relocated also to KC if anything so that Grandma can do her long beautiful hair for me! A ponytail is about as much as I can do. My little-big man is a fireplug of activity and knowledge. They both are inspirations to me because they teach me daily how to become a better man.), shrimp, family time, cooking, and romance. Yes - I know I said romance twice. I like to laugh and joke and can be bawdy and randy or quiet and introspective. Am I a poet as my title suggests - yes, sometimes. I used to write a lot and still love to read at open mike nights when I have the time. But my title on here suggests more of the inspiration I seek. She doesn't have to be beautiful to the rest of the world - just beautiful to me. She may be flattered by the musings of others - but finds strength in the knowledge of the truth I hold. She doesn't just want to be in love; she allows for herself to actually be loved. I'll know it when I find it. I know I like it when a woman wears dresses but feels just as comfortable lounging in jeans and a tee. I know I like a woman who will stop for a kiss even in the rain - her hair be damned! Someone who doesn't have to put on makeup to get the mail. Someone with great maternal *** patient and kind. One who will let me shower her with affection and wants to do the same with me. A woman who will absentmindedly run her fingers across the back of my neck at a stoplight. One who appreciates the thoughts that go into getting little tokens of affection more than the monetary value of them. One who likes to take long baths and will lie next to me so that I can smell her damp hair. One that will let me explore her fully knowing full well that there can never be complete understanding of each other but that the love of the journey is what keeps us going. One who will be my playmate. One who can take my pranks and jokes - and one who just nods and smiles at my quirky rants when I see something distressing on TV. One that will help me be the best parent I can be. One that knows that a successful relationship takes work - honesty - sensuality - and a desire to grow with - not apart. Some place like Starbucks or nice restaurant. Someplace quiet where I can hear you talk, listen to your laugh, and see the light in your eyes. Then we can go go-carting or peruse a book store or even head to the zoo.     I guess the atmosphere that I'm trying to create here is that I'm a friend first and a boyfriend second, and probably an entertainer third. I love to have a good time and tend to get along with everyone. I really do not like being around someone who is completely selfish and puts their interests ahead of everyone else. I do get accused of being too "nice" but I really just try to treat others the way I would want to be treated.To me it is real important to find someone that I am not only attracted to but who is also someone who is a friend who cares about me as much as I would about them. A healthy relationship is a two way street in my opinion. To me the best place for a first date would be somewhere public, like a concert in the park or a nice restaurant for dinner. Nothing to extravagant though because the only thing worse than a horrible date is one that drains your wallet too. Seriously though, I would always recommend a safe location for a first and subsequent dates with someone until you have really gotten to know them.

    I have decided to try again on meetville after many long months of disappointing attempts at trying to meet woman. The main reason is that the woman just didn't commit to meeting in person. i would chat a few times and even met a few nice ladies..but few ever decided to meet in person, and when they did we had no chemistry. I probably will go to grad school after graduation...i am undecided. I love to write and hope to finish a novel i have started in junior college. I would describe myself as an intellectual....thoughtful..pragmatic...intuitive... and sensitive. Yes i can have a temper, be pissy at times, and even have drama...(whoooaa..look out!) ,but everyone does. For the most part, i am very motivated to staying on track. my goal is to meet woman who are serious about the process of dating. You have to talk...and then meet and go from there.
