Loved one's would describe me as kind hearted, calm, loyal and morally sound. Quick to forgive. Patient and not a bully or boisterous, but not a pushover. Respectful to men, woman and children. Love animals!Enough mischief to have a good time and keep out of trouble. Refined enough to meet your friends or parents. Sense of humor is intact as is my hair. Finding joy in the day to day routine is important to me. A dogs wagging tail, a kind smile, children dancing, appreciating nature, sharing a meal and enjoying great music are a few examples of an endless list. My background is in music therapy and performance and can honestly say I love my work.I love live music; listening, dancing (if its good) and playing. From Bach to rock. Also enjoy going for walks, biking, swimming, exploring, learning, travel, photography, community events and much more.I wish to find a woman with a sweet heart that is smart, sensitive and sexy. Someone who has a playful side and a capacity for happiness. I would like someone special to share in the unique experience of the human condition and laugh at the occasional absurdity of life. After reading several profiles, I must say I strongly believe and feel:People should be loved, Things should be used, and *** be played!! Picnic and a walk, bocce ball, music and/or dancing, or just a casual cup of coffee and good conversation.

Despite some traveling, I generally am content right where I am, though I frequently feel the impatient nudge to move on to the next thing, despite the fact there is no "next thing." Character defect #1? Oh, let's save that list for a fireside chat, or, better yet, washing dishes. Ha! I'd rather be tromping around in the dunes behind the beach on a late Spring day when the native dune vegetation is in full show.My job, along with much of my recreation and fitness pursuits are outdoors and mostly off the grid, so I cannot claim that as a preferred activity- it's just the way things are. I'm happy with the way the path has unfolded so far despite a few bumps and potholes along the way. I enjoy people who have their own suite of interests - some in common, some not, though I find myself drawn to those who are active, fit and treat their body well. On the topic of potential partners, let's box this venture into a journey of friendship, romance, or maybe even the bright green area where things are just easy, natural and a conversation is picked up like it never ended.I prefer direct conversations wherever feasible: conversations that can run deep but alternate with light-hearted chit-chat, emotional awareness and all that comes with being present. And while I cook early and often, and have even been known to cook up a meal for a special guest, these are prolonged sessions tipped with anxiety, edginess, and just plain mal-focus over mundane things like the proper set on salmon, over-caramelizing roasted tomatoes, or the lack of a good leopard char on a 5-day fermented dough. I like knowing the story of the food from start to finish. To that end, gathering mushrooms, preserving lemons, making my own toothpaste, laundry soap and canning/freezing all kinds of goodies is one way to know what's going into my body. And I especially like it when there's enough to barter around - your peaches for my salmon - ha! Despite all this, I'm a perfectly imperfect human being that comes packaged with all the quirks that online profiles cannot and, arguably, should not capture. And dishes should be washed by hand. I suppose the obligatory informal coffee meet-
