Profile 2.0Well first of all, I must not be very photogenic because everyone I meet says how much better looking I am in real life. I’m not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Lol It could also be because I am a lot of fun and once I meet someone they are too busy smiling and overlook my poor photos. lol With that said, I am a gentleman and honest and really would like the people I am meeting to be honest as well. Current photos of “them” is a good place to start. I am very active with my children yes. But this does not mean I have no time to be an adult or have a life. I am all about balance and am very good at making sure my life has balance with taking care of kids and having time for myself. I also am a little old fashion. I am a talker not a stalker. I don’t know how to get to know someone from just texting or writing back and forth on the computer. If we talk and do not connect all you need to say is I don’t think we are good match and trust me I have no desire to pursue someone that is not interested in me. My mother says there are plenty of fish in the sea this year I pointed out to her I was human. This is not to say I won’t text just don’t find it to be my best primary line of communication. A lot of my friends and family make fun of me because of the amount of energy I have. But when they want something done I am the one they call. I have owned my own business since I was 23 years old. I have had good years and bad years and the only way I can sum it up is “some days you have chicken some days you have feathers” One of my passions is cooking. I enjoy entertaining and we have most of the holidays at my home. I make a mean roasted Turkey. I am looking for a woman that is honest, has very good morals and is into fun and family. All my family are Italian and I learnt to speak conversational Italian as a child. Went to visit family there this year for the first time in over 22 years and it was a wonderful experience to meet old and new family and friends. I am interested in meeting people who are getting on with things, learning to live their life and enjoying it... People who like the act of curiosity, willing to ask questions and give answers that others are not always expecting to hear. Started hiking this year and its been quite good fun and enjoyable. I also study classical guitar which has been a wonderful thing for me. I am interested in meeting someone who is fun, does not take life to seriously and is just enjoying themselves as best they can. Yes, I do smoke but I am working on giving this up, but it is a struggle. I have also been working on improving life this year. Lost about 25lbs, slowly getting fitter and healthier and feeling the difference. It is like an open door to enjoying life. This doesn't mean that I am turning into a health fanatic. I still enjoy a good beer and a burger, and other good food. Speaking of food, it is an important part of my life. I live to eat but like to eat well and not eat huge quantities. So, if you are a picky eater you may not enjoy going out to diner with me. Food, you have to do it, so do it well. A first date? Could be so many different things. Depending on your interests and mine it could be a happy hour drink, a reliable coffee somewhere, a walk around a great park. Maybe diner or a simple bite to eat.
