About Me

I find it easy to fit into different crowds. I grew up on the family farm killing snakes, running the bush-hog and worming cows. In high school, I was an athlete and in AP classes. I was able to kick back with the jocks or the nerds. To this day I am an avid football fan. I also built my own computer. I work on my own vehicles and get my eyebrows trimmed. I love to shoot guns and to paint.I love heavy metal but I rarely listen to it. I love to play video games but rarely play more than an hour or two on the weekend. My xbox spends more time running netflix or HBO go than it does playing games.I have two small fuzzy headed people that hang around my house occasionally on the weekends. They ask me lots of questions and want me to feed them. All kidding aside, my children are smart, beautiful and amazing. I enjoy my time with them immensely.I make my money drawing custom houses. I get to be artistic yet precise at the same time. It's an interesting, laid back career.I would like to be traveling...again! Of course, there's always water parks...I don't know what it is but I love water slides and want to go back to Schlitterbahn one day. I think I have a thing for the water...because learning to dive is definitely on the list. Of course, this is not all I would like to do before I leave this Earth, I want to purchase an older muscle car and restore it.I have just begun to learn to play guitar. I don't know any songs yet but I'm learning chords and how to read music.Books: The "Song of Ice and Fire" series, "Lord of the Rings" series, Ender's Game. I typically enjoy SiFi and fantasy novels. I do read other things. I'm currently reading "Get Your House Right", a book on house design dos and don'ts.TV: I watch Big Bang Theory reruns if I can. I'm on the last season of Battle Star Galactica on netflix. I never miss the Walking Dead. On occasion I watch Swamp People, I know a couple of those guys so it's funny to watch them on television. Hell's Kitchen, Masterchef, Kitchen Nightmares...if I weren't so good at my job, I think I'd become a chef.Movies: I have enjoyed: Mall Rats, Clerks, Idiocracy, Wanted, the Star Wars trilogy, 30 days of night, Star Ship Troopers. I'll check out any horror or Sifi . I also like comedy (not slapstick so much, I don't usually enjoy Dumb and Dumber type movies) and anything with a good story that'll make you think. Punk, Metal, Rock, old country. My radio is usually tuned to 92.Food: Seafood, Steak...I eat just about anything, except sushi. Yes, I have tried sushi, I just don't like it.

    Hello out there...I'm a dad to my three teenage boys fist and foremost. I'll always do what I think it's right and tell the truth whether you like it or not. I believe people should just be nice to each other in general. Seriously, can't we just all get along? I believe when the right person comes along everything will fall into place as it should. I believe that children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way... wait, that's a song but still, kids are great. I believe in positive thoughts bringing positive results (and vice versa). I believe in magic but not magicians. I believe the glass is half full, and also that the glass is twice as big as it needs to be (I tend to live a simple life without a lot of meaningless drama or extra baggage). So the first date should be something casual where we can just talk a bit and get to know each other a little. I'll also throw the option out there that we could not call it a date, but maybe rather a 'meet and greet' and then decide if we want to go on an actual first date. Just brainstorming here.
