The reason I joined this site is that last year I got out of a long term relationship and most of my friends are now married... So basically at this point I'd like to meet some interesting people, maybe develop some friendships and just expand my social network a little.I'm really not into "clubbing" per se and I don't have much time for it either but I have to say every now and then, i like to go out dancing in a good company (I mostly go to salsa places but I'm open to "normal" dance type of places as well...) . So it'd be great to meet some people who are into that too. My other interests include , seeing a live comedy show, going for drinks, brunches, tennis, wakeboarding, I really like taking long walks on Mont-Royal ... . I click best with people who have a good sense of humor and who can carry an intelligent conversation. A bit more about me: I'm university educated, hard working, ambitious, genuine, family-oriented, respectful, emotionally stable and very dependable. Serious about my life’s goals but I also love to joke around and have a great laugh. I'd say I'm a bit of both - calm and active and a relatively balanced mix of artistic, sporty and intellectual. Just as I like to do stuff, I definitely find a lot of pleasure in staying in and watching a movie on a cold day. Aside from working full time, I also spend quite a bit of time each week on a non-commercial artistic project which means that I have a pretty busy schedule. Having said that, I always find time for people close to me.Completely as a sidenote, as far as dating goes... I'll just say this: I don't want to rush into something too quickly, without knowing the person first. Hey everyone! Ok, about me?! Well I'm a friendly, easy going, honest, caring, young at heart, reliable kinda guy with a broad sense of humor and.... shock, horror I like to think I can cook! I'm good at making soup from scratch (my Tomato soup kicks ass!!) and experimenting! I'm a country lad that lives on a plant growing nursery (plants and flowers!) which is fairly ideal as there's no one close enough to annoy with the drums. Nice place for a long walk in the peace and quiet but it's better when there is somebody with you.Not the sort that's into mind games, can't be bothered with that juvenile nonsense, I say it how I see it. Not too hot on arrogance and ego either.I'm self employed and a musician (semi professional)........ well a drummer to be more precise (The jury is still out as to whether a drummer can be lawfully described as a musician!) and a blonde one at that YIKES!! I play in a Thrash metal band. See! I don't take myself too seriously, though I can hold a serious mind. We get a few high profile support gigs, we seam to be popular with the fans! My musical interests are pretty much centred around Rock music, Heavy Metal and Classical.Like to play Ten Pin Bowling, I enjoy going out and catching up with my mates at gigs, pub and the like. I love my music and I try to get out to gigs as much as I can, enjoy playing them with my band also. I love movies too although don't be surprised that I say it's of the Action, adventure and comedy types, typical bloke stuff. Not big on watching television at all, in my opinion its mostly all rubbish and not really worth switching on for at all. I'd rather watch DVDs or go out. So you'll be safe to watch the soap operas!! Hehe.Looking for someone like myself but then again we all don't all have to be the same to get on with each other.
