God how hard is this, talking about yourself - How do you make yourself sound appealing without coming across as bigheaded !Ok well I would describe myself as a nice guy, who frequently goes out of his way to help others. I'm no 6'2 model but I do have a good heart and like to live my life happy. I am an optomist and hopeless romantic, no matter what the past has brought I believe the future will be better. I have a job I enjoy, a car that gets me from A to B, I love food and enjoy cooking for others. I'm currently improving my body/fitness with long walk and gym sessions. I'm one of those people that believe you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Seeing that I'm now 40 I am looking to date someone nice and hopefully find a soul mate with whom I can share the joys and pitfalls of life with. I have a GSOH and love nothing more than having a good laugh and joke.     Hmmm couldn't get it across in the headline but basically I have arrived at the conclusion that what I am looking for despite not really believing in it, is my soulmate.I'm going to try to be as 'me' as I can be here, and not be too contrived because as nice as it is to meet someone and have a great time initially, if you are not true about who you are it will only fall apart eventually. Don't really watch a lot of TV (when I do it has been things like Peep Show, quirky comedy) and have been watching Breaking Bad.... but always up for a good film, listen to music - whatever fits the mood.- anything chilled and with feeling and meaning ;) Also like it heavy and / or dance music/dnb/dubstep/chillstep at times ;) My music tastes are very varied. Not necessarily as a first date, but my ideal night / day out would probably be just going somewhere neither of us has ever been, somewhere beautiful and inspiring. Somewhere away from everyone and everything and watch the sun set and or rise :)Part of me feels I still have some adventure waiting for me out there, and someone to share it with. We can work that out together.
