Hey…’t willing to drive here to meet me, don’t bother…I’m not coming to you! If we get past the first meeting, then we can share travel time. I’ve been independent for a very long time and have developed a bit of an attitude about stupid people, please don’t be stupid because I will call you on it. I want honesty, respect, and a partnership. I’m mature enough to know that we both have pasts and some of that baggage will follow, but it shouldn’t define ‘us’. I have no regrets in my life. Everything I’ve done has made me who I am. I wouldn’t change anything because if I did, everything after it would change as well. I want you to always tell me the truth even if it hurts…I can’t change or deal with things I don’t know about. I want you to respect me and what I have to offer our relationship…I’m not dumb or inferior to you in any way. I want a partner…someone who asks my opinion on things that affect ‘us’. I won’t stop you from doing things you want to do, but I want to know about them before you do them. I know that a partnership is not always ***, it’s a give and take, but neither of us should ever feel that we are giving more than we are getting back.
