Hey…’t willing to drive here to meet me, don’t bother…I’m not coming to you! If we get past the first meeting, then we can share travel time. Everything I’ve done has made me who I am. I wouldn’t change anything because if I did, everything after it would change as well. I want you to always tell me the truth even if it hurts…I can’t change or deal with things I don’t know about. I want you to respect me and what I have to offer our relationship…I’m not dumb or inferior to you in any way. I want a partner…someone who asks my opinion on things that affect ‘us’. I won’t stop you from doing things you want to do, but I want to know about them before you do them. I know that a partnership is not always ***, it’s a give and take, but neither of us should ever feel that we are giving more than we are getting back.
