Everyone has a story....I've been divorced almost 2 years and not sure where to even start dating again. Friends will tell you I have a good heart, I'm loyal and trustworthy, honest to a fault, independent, can be stubborn and don't do drama or games. We aren't in high school anymore and life is just too short for that ! Also I occasionally have a wicked sense of humor, I mean laughter is the best medicine, right? I can give and take a joke as well, just don't like hurting other people. I guess you might say I've got a fairly strong willed personality.I'm just as comfortable working hard and getting dirty as long as a shower is in the near future. I'm not into camping for a week without being able to wash my hair LOL I mean I'm still a girl :-) Most days I will be in jeans and my boots except on Sundays. I do like to dress up for special occasions. I believe in old fashioned values, I attend church on Sundays. Online dating seems very strange to me. I believe you need to get to know one another and be friends before you jump into a relationship. I love my kids, my son is 19 currently attending college and my daughter is 22 and going to start back to college after the first of the year. I have "tomboy traits" my latest project is finishing a remodel on my home. I'm not a big tv person, usually listening to music no matter what I'm doing. I love to swim, have a garden every year, love to country western dance, love most music except rap and just hanging out under the stars. Mexican food is probably my favorite given a choice. Love hanging out with friends/family and seeing new places. If you want to know more about me just ask..... If you aren't within DRIVING DISTANCE, please don't waste your time, I won't just sit and chat for hours. Not enough hours in the day for that.I don't need someone to take care of me, I've been doing that myself for a long time. I do however like to have my door opened for me and be treated like a lady.I'm through settling .....looking for someone to "; with, someone that makes my heart skip a beat when I see him smiling just for me! Meeting for dinner or a couple of drinks getting to know one another. Love to country western dance but not into the bar scene. Going for a walk, sitting under the stars or open for suggestions.

    It's way too difficult to describe myself in a box. I'm part Italian, which makes me a bit passionate in the things that matter to me. I feel things deeply and give 100% (and then some) to the people in my life. My children are my greatest blessing! Hobbies include anything of a creative nature. I'm a published writer and have recently tapped into the artist in me! I love creating something out of nothing. Can't imagine the world without music...all kinds. Not great on skis, but enjoy going along for the ride!My story, and what I'm looking for, isn't all that unique. Married for ten years, and although it wasn't my "happily-ever-after", my amazing kids made it all worth it. My youngest has just headed off to college, and I'm thinking it might be time for a new beginning for me. I just want a stand-up guy who's willing to say "Enough" when it comes to playing the same old games. (If you continue to do what you've always done, you'll continue to get what you've got!) Unfortunately, it seems like this might be the wrong pond to be fishing in. Plenty of people trolling, but nobody (and by that, I mean you men!) really making an effort to connect. (Or maybe you're hanging around for that arm candy?) Good luck with that... Lots of really great women out there (and yes, I think I'm one of them) looking for a really great man willing to at least buy her a cup of coffee! First dates are usually a bit awkward, so I'd prefer something with very little pressure! Meeting for dinner or coffee or a drink seems to be a great way to break the ice. It doesn't take too long to determine if there's potential...
