I like to have fun! Is that so difficult? This dating world can be a very strange place. And sometimes you wonder...is this pond of fish all that's left in the single world? About me? I'm very easy going, love to laugh and have a good time. I don't take life too seriously. But I do know what I like and what I don't like. So I put it out there so there is no confusion. I'm revising my profile because I've gotten so many comments about it, I figure I must seem very, ummmm..... what's the word, rigid? Completely the opposite! But let's all agree that attraction is very important in this quest. And it's not something that you can force or try talking yourself into. So we'll leave it at that.I'm very much a city girl. Not that I don't enjoy the outdoors, but I'm not much into camping or "roughing it" unless it involves a cushy bed and room service. I like laying by the pool and taking walks - weather permitting :) Yes, just to clarify, I truly am 6' tall. No, it's not a mistake nor did I let the height field default. I love being tall (never have to worry about the views at a concert). I also have 2 very beautiful, tall daughters. And I won't put on here that I have a height requirement for you as I've heard many women do. If you are secure enough in yourself to go out with a tall girl, then you're probably the type of guy that I like. But if I don't think there is an attraction...don't be offended if I don't respond. I don't want to waste anyone's time and would hope that you feel the same. Typically am attracted to younger men. It's just worked out that way. If you're a Truebie, or even know what that is, bonus!!! Oh, by the way (and this may totally make the crickets chirp in my inbox), I love football. However, while once upon a time I tried convincing myself that because I live in the DFW area I SHOULD be a Cowboys fan, I am no longer. Go Giants! Casual meeting. Possibly drinks.

Although my headline sounds like a bit of a cliche' I find it important to keep these aspects of life in focus. I put laughter as # 1 because humor is so very important to me and makes any normal day special and fun. I have a very demanding and special job and look for creative ways to destress and unwind. I have been told I am fun, creative and adventurous (to the point of danger :) and have strong desires to travel, experiencing new things and people. I love all kinds of music, especially live and love, love, love to dance. I am enjoying a great time in my life as I think I have figured out what makes me happy and I do not look to any person to make that happen for me. My children are also very independent and wonderful people that are enjoyable to spend time with. I recognize my blessings and work hard to give back to others who may not be so fortunate. I am interested in dating and companionship, which could simply just lead to a friendship or something much more meaningful that would be romantic, leading to a long-term relationship. I do not like to script out scenarios and that can lead to disappointment. So I leave it to say that I can be very easy-going but also find it romantic when something special is planned just for you.

I still believe there is that special someone out there for everyone. Mine however, just happens to be hiding really good! Lol A great sense of humor and positive attitude is a MUST! I love to laugh A LOT and have fun in everything I do. I enjoy golf but hate to lose, so if you aren’t good it doesn’t matter as long as you have fun doing it. I like to cross country and downhill ski in the winter….enjoy a good glass of wine at the end of my day. I have a bright young spirit, am comfortable with who I am and know what I want. Love to try new things…be spontaneous, go on new adventures. I want someone who is settled in life and knows what they want.I don’t need anyone to take care of me; I can take care of myself. I want someone to share life with… the victories and well as the defeats. To build me up when needed or talk some sense into me when that may be needed (although I assure you that isn’t often..lol)So…if any of that sounds like you, then come out of hiding and say hello! Meet for a drink...and if conversation goes well...on to dinner!
