I am an open book. No single aspect of my life nor any belonging I own defines me. I am far from your average woman. I do not judge, I do not cheat and I do not lie. Everyone has a past. I have no regrets. I have an amazing 9 year old daughter who is my little partner in crime. If you could not fathom finding a small space in your heart just big enough to care about the little person I have brought into this world then you are not the man for me. Don't get me wrong, adult time is madly important to me, but of course I'd like to integrate my daughter into the relationship at some point. If you're confused with the fact that my occupation is "disabled", please don't freak out. I used to be madly successful in corporate America but was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia a pretty long time ago and had to acquiesce to the fact that I just cannot work full time anymore. Both of these pesky diseases are pretty easy to research online if you're wondering at all how they might effect me, however basically I just went from Superwoman to an average woman. I try really hard to control the symptoms and am searching for God's new "plan" for me. I'll figure it all out at some point very soon, but I try to stay as active as I possibly can.;I'm selfish, impatient, and a little insecure. I make mistakes. I am out of control and and at times, hard to handle. But if you cant handle me at my worst you sure as hell dont deserve me at my best."Traci Lyn ? Surprise me....

I am soon to be a retired combat veteran. WOW.... I never thought would finally get here that I could say that. One chapter closed, looking to start my next chapter. If a man is going to have any interest in me, he needs to know; I love back rubs. Yes. Yes, I do. I cuss when I am mad, sad, frustrated, around other folks in the military, at the cable company, and when the heck I want to. :-) I am very passionate and I get frustrated when life is so unfair. (yes, I know... who said life was fair?)I can shoot, and my favorite date would be a walk in the woods, and target practice. I do love nice restaurants once in a while. It does feel good to splurge on ourselves when we feel like it. I do clean up well. I love to go to fancy dinners on occasion, just to prove I can.... and to eat the shrimp. JK :-) I love CAKE! OMGOSH, I LOVE CAKE! I am a dreamer. I will stamp my foot and shed many tears about the injustices that happen in this world. I will take the time to write many, many letters to those in charge of shit, even though I know it will never do any good. I love hard, and fall fast, but if you screw with me, I will drop you out of my universe so fast you will find yourself in the gamma quadrant. And if you happen to know where the gamma quadrant is, you already get bonus points. I am a serious redneck nerd. I love guns, and walking outdoors, but I also love science and space. I love action movies, but a really great science fiction movie is awesome too! Chic flicks are not my style. I love nature, and I would love to own a little farm one day. Anything ***acres would be nice. BUT, I would be happy with a huge garden -- as long as someone is willing to help. If you are a couch potato, we would never work out. I question EVERYTHING! You will find me reading my Bible, with a copy of a Science Magazine right behind it. I believe if God did not want us to ask questions, why did he give us a brain? Speaking of brain, yes, you must have some education, or some sense of drive to do the best you can in this life! I am a serious A-type girl, and you can either keep up, or get left in my dust. BUT.... AND this is serious, weekends are for beer and bon-fires, and holidays are for eating. I know how to relax. I am tight with my money, but if my cat gets hurt, don't even question me about how much money I spend at the VETs. My cat is one of my kids, has been here longer than you, and I can replace you, but not my cat. End of story. Speaking of kids. I have kids. They come first. Period. I would hope you would be the same. If you are in my life, then you need to know how to burn brush, run a chain saw, mow grass, drink a beer, and know the basics of handy man work. IF I am the only one who knows how to do these things, why do I need you around? :-) Just kidding. Ok... not really. :-) You need clothes WITHOUT holes in them. Even Walmart jeans and Polos are not that expensive. You will not be in the yard with a big hole in your shirt. Do you want me walking around in ugly clothes all the time? Well, it doesn't look good on a man either. Go topless, or change your shirt. Facial hair is acceptable, as long as it looks trimmed and kept. Do I demand a lot from my men? YES! If I am settling for you, then you might be settling for me, and neither one of us should settle.Now dammit, put some jeans on, put on a nice flannel shirt, put your hat on correctly, grab your gun, and lets go on a date. Seriously, on a date, almost anything you want to do will probably be fun to me. (But, NOT Bungy Jumping :-) I have a huge range of interests. Feel free to surprise me. I also like helping in the community. Do you? Maybe we could volunteer at some Saturday morning event. Building a ramp for a Veteran, running/walking a 5K for charity, building a home for Habitat for Humanity. I do like giving back to the community, and it is more fun with a friend. :-) I am not one of these women who are looking for a "free meal" -- Someone actually sent me a message like that once! I am always amazed about how strange humans can be. :-) LOL We can go dutch, or I will even pay! :-) I just like having fun with another grown-up. The first date could be something fun and light. Somewhere we can talk, but not too much pressure to be perfect. I love to listen. So, I will love to hear all your stories. :-) Heck, I will even listen to you about your ex. I just love good stories and a lot of laughter from the daily events of life. :-) I love simple things in life. Zoo? Hot Dogs in the park? Coffee and bagel in the morning? Museums, Scientific Center, fishing, coffee, wine, dinner, picnic, movies, BBQ, fishing, hiking, racing, jumping from a plane (LOL, just seeing if you are reading :-), etc? There are so many things we can do! I can dress up for a party, or dress down for a motorcycle ride in the country. Do these sound good? I like them all. :-) I love all dancing. Including Bachata, Salsa, Merengue, Hip hop, Oldies, Swing, Clog,..... almost anything. If it has a beat, I am willing to try dancing to it. If you can dance, that is awesome! If it is a movie, don't feel the pressure of chic flicks, I will tell you up front a bonus with me... I DO NOT like chic flicks. :-) I have never once watched The Notebook. (YUCK!) :-) Do any of these ideas interest you? Again, I love just about anything. These are only ideas. What do you like to do? Dealers choice? Let's go do it! :-)
