About Me

I am mostly easy going, love to travel to new places, love to learn new things and apply them in my life. I love a good mystery - book or movie. I have been known to camp, hike, bird watch, and other outdoor activities. I like to fish, but haven't been in quite a while. Have not been hunting, but am willing to give it a try, as long as the weapon is a camera. I used to ski, but after an injury, I'm a little skiddish, so I probably wouldn't go higher than the bunny slopes, if at all. LOL I like all kinds of sports - but, would rather see them in person than on TV. I love intellectual conversation, even an occasional debate. I am somewhat conservative, but not enough to label me an "R", and not liberal enough to be a "D", so I guess I'm 'middle of the road'. I do my research, and vote my conscience. My color code is tied between blue and white, and my love language is 'acts of service'. I've learned as I've gotten older, that perfection is not attainable - so, I'm not looking for someone perfect - just someone perfect for me. :-)I do like a good 'adventure', whether it be something as easy as trying a new food - or as intricate as backpacking across Europe. Combine the two, and we've got real fun! I've been to a few places, but there is still so many things I'd like to do, and finding the right partner to share the experiences would be icing on the cake! I'm looking for a kind man, who is thoughtful, considerate, sincere, loving and genuine. I'm looking for the kind of chemistry that when two people have an understanding of, and attraction to each other that goes beyond always needing words to express. I'm not looking for an exact copy of myself - but, someone who complements my qualities, understands my needs, (and vice versa), and the kind of affection to be able to support each other in rough times. Trust, loyalty, genuine friendship, open communication, optimism, respect, compassion.....these things are important, too. I can't compromise on those. Oh, and he needs to have a good sense of humor, handy with tools, likes to cook (or at least share in preparation of meals), knows what he wants, and interested in self-improvement in some way. LOL - does this guy even exist?I am retired from my first career, and I am considering taking a temporary overseas job, so I need to find someone who is up for that adventure! Or, maybe just someone who has the time and resources available to grab a Eurorail pass and go on an adventure....or, perhaps the bullet train across Japan. What's on your bucket list? Perhaps we can do these things and make memories together? Does it give you the travel bug? If so, there's something we have in common!I look forward to hearing from you!     Hi.... I'm a fun, outgoing, pleasant divorced mother of 2 girls & I have a dog who is my BFF. We are a package deal.; the dog is a permanent resident. KIds ALWAYS come first .. whether you are invited along or not..that is a given! I'm willing to try almost anything but Bunji jumping & sky diving ...I enjoy movies, boat rides, walks, going to concerts, going to museums & most of all learning about new things. I think my ability to see the silver lining in most situations makes me unique..a good outlook is the best thing to have these days. I'm patient which also helps in my line of work with the mentally handicapped. I can adapt well to almost any social situation & I seek positive people. I've been told I have a killer smile & I like to giggle alot. Why not have fun while we are here? My music interests are varied. I like old country to pop to rock..recent interests are Adele &..again..I'm open to new things..so u never know if I might already like a certain genre.... If you want to know something .. just ask! I seek the man that will ultimately get along with me & respect me...race is no issue A MAN is a MAN..no matter how you look at it..just be yourself & sincere! Anything we agree on..& depending upon the distance.
