Since billboards are costly, let me start this off by disclosing that I work second shift, that is afternoons, Monday - Friday, I have weekends and the normal holidays and not so normal holidays off, and also 4 weeks vacation but...again...I work second shift...Sorry, if that is an issue look at all the time I just saved you. A great foundation for a relationship begins with friendship, similar interests and different perspectives. I hope my good qualities overpower my shortcomings but, as they say...it is, what it is. I do have a great sense of humor, a brain that stays engaged for longer then 30 seconds at a time and I have never been arrested, detained or even questioned, as far as you know.... This is totally a shot in the dark looking to make a connection with someone who will read all of the above and says to himself...hey, I wanna meet the lady who speeds, swears, ties up a checkout, laughs and thinks for herself.. she sounds interesting.. but then again, I guess that is why we are all here. I have 2 grown sons. My life is busy, but always very blessed. It is my hope to find someone I connect with to eventually have a forever, but, that being said, I am not desperate or into serial dating. If you are, you are knocking on the wrong girls door. When, and if, the right one comes along, it will happen. If not, I guess it's just destiny. At this age no one is perfect, flawless, or unmarked by what life has handed you and I am very upfront that I am in no way a Barbie shaped girl, they are out there, if that's what you seek and prefer, that's great and I wish you well, but trust me, it's just not me, A mutual photo exchange is appreciated and only fair. And, although I can hold my own in an endurance contest, I am not scaling buildings, walking on tight ropes, climbing mountains or claiming that I am going to run any marathons...Nope, not gonna happen. Again, I am sure there are plenty out there who do these things, I am just not one of them,,, Ohhhh P.S... I think pretty much anyone over 18 has a car, not sure why that is a profile question....I would think it more important to know who has a valid license and their own insurance...cause...you're not borrowing my car... even if you ask nice...nope, not gonna happen... Sorry, not into bars, I don't dance, sky dive, train for triathlons or leap tall buildings in a single bound...; Let's do something low key and fun where we can enjoy each others company or determine we were never meant to meet.. Sorry, if I haven't seen your face I would never, ever, consider meeting...watched too many Law n Order and CSI episodes...No intention of having a show written about me.

I'm an active, energetic person who likes to do things. I don't want to lie on my death bed, and harbour any regrets...we're only here once. I appreciate the simpler things in life like going for walks along the river, reading good books, listening to good music, and getting together with friends. I do things with enthusiasm and like to do them well. I've recently taken up scuba, and look forward to dives anywhere warm! I swim, cycle and run regularly. This year I'm learning to row. I enjoy gardening, reading, swimming, hiking, music, and travelling. I'm attracted to men who are active, curious, and kind. Initial sparks are welcome, but I value shared interests and activities over sparks that fade over time. On a first date, it's important to find out if the basics are there - chemistry, common interests, a shared sense of humour....do you click? that's essential. I am optimistic and excited about the future. My daughter is on her own now it is just me and time to concentrate on what I want. I am self sufficient and pretty low maintenance. I worked in the travel industry so I take advantage of those perks as often as I can. I can hold my own playing pool or darts. I don't love to dance but if my alcohol/blood ratio is right I will. I have been called one of the boys because of my love of sports (die hard Redskins fan no matter what and love the O's and C A P S, Caps Caps Caps) and "guy" things like cars and DIY but I am all girl. I have been very into fitness the last year or so and am faithful to my workouts..gym, zumba, boxing lessons etc. I love it but it sure would be nice to have a workout partner!! Love all types of music, live music is one of my favorite things. I try to spend every day being positive and grateful, the more you live that way the more reasons there are to be that way! Whatever makes sense to us
