Below was written a few years ago. Been off for a while....*If you read to the bottom of my profile, you will read MUST NOT BE MARRIED. Separated is married. Please be legally divorced.* Hi! This is my first experience with online dating. I'm a single woman who would love to one day meet my best friend to enjoy life with, long term. I'm smart, independent, (went on an 8 night cruise alone), and from what I'm told, attractive & fun to be around. I'm a girlie girl, but not high maintenance. I'm kind of old fashioned in the sense that I'm not into casual sex, like a lot of people these days. I don't take it lightly. I won't kiss on a first date either. Sometimes not for a couple, but it is worth the wait! LOL I have to feel very comfortable with the man & kissing can be more intimate than sex. I tend to be too trusting & giving with people & have gotten hurt many times because of it. I haven't been able to find a man who is truly honest & doesn't lie or deceive. I'm a very honest & open person, & I expect the same from others. WITHOUT TRUST, YOU HAVE NOTHING. I know the best start for a relationship is friendship, and that is all I'm looking for right now. If the right person comes along, who knows what else. I know I don't NEED a man in my life, but a good companion would make life that much better. I love to socialize & go out dancing. Music is my life & the only kind I really don't care for is Rap & heavy metal. I LOVE COUNTRY music!! I probably listen to it about 85% of the time, so if you hate it or just never listened & won't give it a chance, you're probably not the one for me. (Most guys, I've dated in the past, have ended up liking it) :-) I love the beach & the outdoors in general. I recently experienced snorkeling & am contemplating scuba diving. I haven't experienced a whole lot in my life & would love to try new things. I wanna go on a wave runner, so bad!!!(finally did on 4th of July) I took the boating safety course, but have yet to go. I want to go sailing too! Anyone have either?? LOLI love to go to concerts (usually country) & it would be nice to have someone to go with. Oh yeah, I can't live with a SMOKER, so I won't date one. Also, if you do any kind of DRUGS, (including smoking weed), or are into PORN, including movies, mags, internet, strip clubs, etc, DO NOT CONTACT ME. I do not want or need that in my life. I believe relationships should be one on one, no 3rd parties!!(porn) You can lie about it, but eventually I would find out & it would be over, so please don't waste either of our time. Physical attraction is one of the 3 most important things a couple needs for a relationship to last. I am not attracted to overweight & I also don't date outside my own race. The first thing I notice are eyes & smile. :-) A great smile is a big turn on. Another of the 3 most important things is having the same spiritual beliefs. You don't have to be a religious fanatic, but I do believe in God & if you truly don't, please don't contact me. I know what I DON'T want. I'm NOT SETTLING this time around. I'm not desperate nor in a hurry. Good things come to those who wait & sometimes when you least expect it.....     Since billboards are costly, let me start this off by disclosing that I work second shift, that is afternoons, Monday - Friday, I have weekends and the normal holidays and not so normal holidays off, and also 4 weeks vacation but...again...I work second shift...Sorry, if that is an issue look at all the time I just saved you. A great foundation for a relationship begins with friendship, similar interests and different perspectives. I hope my good qualities overpower my shortcomings but, as they say...it is, what it is. I do have a great sense of humor, a brain that stays engaged for longer then 30 seconds at a time and I have never been arrested, detained or even questioned, as far as you know.... This is totally a shot in the dark looking to make a connection with someone who will read all of the above and says to himself...hey, I wanna meet the lady who speeds, swears, ties up a checkout, laughs and thinks for herself.. she sounds interesting.. but then again, I guess that is why we are all here. I have 2 grown sons. My life is busy, but always very blessed. It is my hope to find someone I connect with to eventually have a forever, but, that being said, I am not desperate or into serial dating. If you are, you are knocking on the wrong girls door. When, and if, the right one comes along, it will happen. If not, I guess it's just destiny. At this age no one is perfect, flawless, or unmarked by what life has handed you and I am very upfront that I am in no way a Barbie shaped girl, they are out there, if that's what you seek and prefer, that's great and I wish you well, but trust me, it's just not me, A mutual photo exchange is appreciated and only fair. And, although I can hold my own in an endurance contest, I am not scaling buildings, walking on tight ropes, climbing mountains or claiming that I am going to run any marathons...Nope, not gonna happen. Again, I am sure there are plenty out there who do these things, I am just not one of them,,, Ohhhh P.S... I think pretty much anyone over 18 has a car, not sure why that is a profile question....I would think it more important to know who has a valid license and their own insurance...cause...you're not borrowing my car... even if you ask nice...nope, not gonna happen... Sorry, not into bars, I don't dance, sky dive, train for triathlons or leap tall buildings in a single bound...; Let's do something low key and fun where we can enjoy each others company or determine we were never meant to meet.. Sorry, if I haven't seen your face I would never, ever, consider meeting...watched too many Law n Order and CSI episodes...No intention of having a show written about me.
