I love the arts all types. Yes I would like to get married again someday. I could meet him in 5 years or tomorrow. I just have to take that first step.

I'm quite Independent. If your looking for a "needy" person? I'm Not it. I like to be treated like a lady, but I don't expect a gentleman to pick up the tab. Dutch Treat is a wonderful option. My friends describe me as a generous kind person, that works just a little bit too much. So "driven" is a word that could describe me. I've owned a few businesses in my life and don't mind getting my hands dirty whether is working in the garage or making home improvements. My home I own outright. I worked hard to achieve that and am proud that it only took me 15 years to pay off the mortgage. I have no debt except a car payment and live within my means... I am not looking for financial stability... I have that all on my own. I do want someone special in my life that I can share my personal time with. I list a lot of hobbies that men would enjoy (see interests). I am a Freak about FISHING. lol I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT... What I'm not into and this is a deal breaker.... if you focus most of your hobbies on car racing and motorcycles I am not for you... Lord Knows I've tried but just not going to happen as an interest for me (maybe occasionally). I just think there ought to be a man out there that enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, football, hockey, golf, baseball and not put me thru cars and motorcycles except in small doses. enough said. . I DO NOT LIKE TO SHOP (unless its a good flea market or garage sale) I am a bit of a homebody but that is because I have a disabled adult son at home. I am looking for a comfortable companion for a weekly night out maybe more without drama. I absolutely love to pamper a man whether it is cooking dinner, or giving a massage (once I know you), I'm 49 and for that age I'm pretty well maintained but no beauty queen. I do want a man that takes care of his appearance but a few extra pounds is ok by me. LOL I enjoy an intelligent conversation about what is going on in the world so being up on current events is a nice quality as I'm a bit of a "news junkie". I love Military History. I do enjoy cooking and baking so if you have a kitchen at some point I'm going to be wanting to rattle the pans. :) My sons are the joy of my life. I lost their father when they were 4 to cancer and I lost my long time companion who helped raise them a few years ago in an accident. My social life is pretty quiet, dinner out with friends, coffee out, a movie, concert am very content with a movie and popcorn at home. . I am a very passionate woman but don't rush into anything. Looking for a friendship first and take it from there. “A date can start anytime of day... Coffee at my favorite coffee shop at about 630am before the work day starts is a great way to start to get to know someone”
