This talking about yourself to complete strangers is a bit daunting, but necessary, I guess :) If I bore you to tears, just skip to the end - I totally get it :)I've been described as very outgoing, friendly, fun, talkative...which I am always surprised by since I consider myself to be on the shy side. It's probably more dependent on the atmosphere and the company I'm in than my true nature, which I constantly try to override anyway :) So yeah, I guess I can make a fool of myself as well as anyone but I can also sit in the corner and carry on an intimate conversation.I've been the director of a marketing department for a mid-size firm, the vp of the PTO for my son's elementary, sat on the board of a non-profit, and stayed home with the kids for a few years - and I found all of these things equally rewarding.I'm in that "recently divorced" period of my life. Spending as much time as possible with my kids, who I have every other week, filling the rest of my time with work, friends, hobbies, etc. I've managed to stay busy doing things I really enjoy - writing, reading, exercising, dining out, traveling, catching a movie now and then, trying to teach myself photography and improving my culinary skills (trust me - they needed improvement!) so I lead a well-rounded, fulfilling life. I would, however, like to find someone to share it with.I gravitate toward men who are educated, kind, adventurous, spontaneous, passionate and communicative. If you like to dance, that is a definite bonus :) I respect personal time, don't like to play games, and understand that everyone has a past - we're all adults, after all. A glass of wine or a cup of coffee are a perfect first date - if you really have chemistry you can always move on to dinner :)

UPDATE...OK, I am an "empty nester," my kids are now young adults, an I have one gr. daughter that I enjoy spending time with, when I can!:) I've spent the better part of my first 40 yrs. "Livin an Learnin" from it! Well...Most of the time anyway!:) Now, I'm ready to spend the next 40 or so "Livin an Playin" any time I can!!:) I have No "past" in My Present...aka, NO Drama with "X's"...moving forward!...Sooo, looking for someone with the same scenario as well...Please!:):) Someone to spend the quite and simple moments with, as well as all of the things to do outdoors! I enjoy anything related to being in or around water (fish,ski,camp,doin "nothin") ridin horses, motorcycles, etc, as well as something as simple as sitting around a fire, an watching the sun go down! Any time or thing that we could spend doing together, as well as having some of your "me" time! I would say I'm "old school" as far as music goes: old rock, but new stuff as well. My preference would be Country,(dancin) as well, but...! I like spending my time outdoors in the country, away from the city if possible, although I have to live in the city for work purposes. Don't mind playin in the "dirt" an gettin it under my nails...lol! I'm looking for that person that has the positive,happy,can make me laugh,as well as be laughed at attitude! I "kid" an joke around alot, have a quick wit,(aka *** so I've been told...Lol!:) I like watching Most sports, either on TV, or going to see them, altho, don't do it much! Going out and about, or staying home an being lazy around the house. A man that will grab my attention both with the looks/physical attraction, as well as personality you know? Everyone has that "something" that their looking for, besides a potential soulmate maybe...that "IT" factor I guess:) I would like to meet,date maybe, an see if, an where it may go from there! My Normal everyday attire would be a shirt/jeans/shorts/flip flops, kind of girl, but I can "Dress Up" for the occasion when called for!! Sound kind of like what you've been looking for maybe?! It would be nice to meet you! I'm hoping to meet a great guy on here that would be my best friend and eventually my husband. I've been divorced for over 5 years and am now ready to get rid of the single life! LOL. Some of my hobbies include relaxing with a good book, hiking, camping, horseback riding and landscaping. I also enjoy going to museums, festivals and traveling. I also attend church weekly and spend time volunteering. I have a 12 year old that lives at home as well as 2 adult children.
