About Me

UPDATE...OK, I am an "empty nester," my kids are now young adults, an I have one gr. daughter that I enjoy spending time with, when I can!:) I've spent the better part of my first 40 yrs. "Livin an Learnin" from it! Well...Most of the time anyway!:) Now, I'm ready to spend the next 40 or so "Livin an Playin" any time I can!!:) I have No "past" in My Present...aka, NO Drama with "X's"...moving forward!...Sooo, looking for someone with the same scenario as well...Please!:):) Someone to spend the quite and simple moments with, as well as all of the things to do outdoors! I enjoy anything related to being in or around water (fish,ski,camp,doin "nothin") ridin horses, motorcycles, etc, as well as something as simple as sitting around a fire, an watching the sun go down! Any time or thing that we could spend doing together, as well as having some of your "me" time! I would say I'm "old school" as far as music goes: old rock, but new stuff as well. My preference would be Country,(dancin) as well, but...! I like spending my time outdoors in the country, away from the city if possible, although I have to live in the city for work purposes. Don't mind playin in the "dirt" an gettin it under my nails...lol! I'm looking for that person that has the positive,happy,can make me laugh,as well as be laughed at attitude! Someone that has simiIar likes obviously, as well as ready to share new things too! I "kid" an joke around alot, have a quick wit,(aka *** so I've been told...Lol!:) I like watching Most sports, either on TV, or going to see them, altho, don't do it much! Going out and about, or staying home an being lazy around the house. A man that will grab my attention both with the looks/physical attraction, as well as personality you know? Everyone has that "something" that their looking for, besides a potential soulmate maybe...that "IT" factor I guess:) I would like to meet,date maybe, an see if, an where it may go from there! My Normal everyday attire would be a shirt/jeans/shorts/flip flops, kind of girl, but I can "Dress Up" for the occasion when called for!! Sound kind of like what you've been looking for maybe?! OK...Let me just add here...Now, we aren't getting Any younger, either On this site, or Off! However, I am trying to "age gracefully" most of the time...lol:) and would like that in a person as well!     Hello to whoever may be reading this....I'm not sure how to successfully do this online dating but here goes nothing.I'm looking for a self assured man, one who works (loving your job is a bonus), can take care of himself (but enjoys being taken care of), and a great sense of humor.I work full time, love love love my job, own my own home and capable of taking care of it :-), I'm not flipped out by being alone, I happen to enjoy my company LOL!I spend as much time as possible riding my bike, let's clarify.....motorcycle :-) and it is one of my greatest joys.     I love music; I work as a photographer part time in the industry. I get to go to a lot of concerts and have fun. Been doing that for over 20 years now. I do a lot of charity work and I and get to work with a lot of women and men who all have great ideas. I have been moving up the lines into position of being in charge of the groups soon. That has taken a lot of hard work and earned respect. Something that makes me proud but not conceded.I treat everyone with respect and I expect the same back. I try to have great communications skills because I am some who does like to guess or assume what the other person is thinking or feeling. Communication is very important to me.I believe in complete honesty with the person I am with, I believe the more honest you are the less of a possibility to fight or a misunderstanding. I hate fighting; it gets you nowhere, other than hurting the other person. However it does take some time for me to open up, but as the relationship gets stronger I am more open. One problem with most relationships is people do not communicate what it is they need or want from their partners, they assume that person should know. That’s one of my biggest pet peeves is when I hear a someone say, he/she should have known. Well did you ever tell them, they usually say no, he/she just should have known.
