I am an independent (but still love it when you open the door or gently guide me with your hand on my back), caring, smart, successful, sometimes sassy woman looking for someone to complement my life. I am mostly comfortable in my own skin (we all have bad hair days...), take good care of myself, and try not to take myself too seriously. A healthy lifestyle with occassional indulgences is important to me. I have a full and happy life with a wonderful 12 year old daughter (the light of my life) and a great group of friends and family -- but I find I miss the companionship and affection of having a special man to share my life. I don't need someone to take care of me -- but I'd love to find a partner where our strengths complement one another and we enjoy sometimes taking care of one another. While my career has been important to me and it has provided energy, security and comforts -- it's relationships and giving back that is most important to me. I'm not afraid to roll my sleeves up and get dirty. My home is often filled with friends or family, great wine, good food, music, and lots of laughter.My daughter spends 2 days a week with her Dad -- and I'd love to spend some of that time getting to know you... We don't need to share everything but hopefully we have some interests in common, some we can introduce one another to, and some that we would continue to enjoy with others in our life. I don't want to give up girls getaway weekends and wouldn't want you to give up your male bonding time! A must share is the love of the outdoors!.. If we click and develop more than a friendship, it would be great to have you join me with my daughter and me with your kids if you have them.I also love a little culture in my life -- but prefer to be casual with only an occassional dress up event or dinner.- love the local joints... I also enjoy Americana -- an occassional Saints, Twins, MN Wild, or Vikings game; small town festivals, B&-- snuggled on the couch or at the theatre... I have a love of adrenalin and a bucket list to feed it --As a single mom most my traveling today is with my daughter -- or my girlfriends ***Yet to come --.. Extra points if you've read to the end!     I am not a huge fan of this site but when you work often and live in a different town, meeting people is difficult. Meeting quality is even harder.I love life, adventure, traveling and helping people. I work hard, play even harder and don't rely on any one. I am allergic (terribly) to cats but love dogs. I have 3 ... choc lab, wolf husky and a pyr/husky mix. All great natured dogs.I have one left at home, a 16 yr old Sophomore. Great kid ... very together and fun! I have a 30 yr old son and a 29 yr old daughter, 3 grandkids 7, 8, 10.Music is always playing around me. Ecletic taste ... also sing mostly country. It's my accent that seems to pull it all together.My son isn't going to be with me in a few short years ... I am hopeful I will find someone I really enjoy spending time with and maybe ... something long term will develop.I also Cater/dj/kj ... being a single parent ... I like spoiling my son, this helps even though I have a good job and make a good living.I have been here before ... met several but haven't found a mutual interest I guess.     Life, whats not to love ? Yes it's dropped me to my knees more than once but I wouldn't take back one moment of it. I make the most of everyday I'm given. I love summer sun and water and I think Fall is the most beautiful season.
