This talking about yourself to complete strangers is a bit daunting, but necessary, I guess :) If I bore you to tears, just skip to the end - I totally get it :)I've been described as very outgoing, friendly, fun, talkative...which I am always surprised by since I consider myself to be on the shy side. It's probably more dependent on the atmosphere and the company I'm in than my true nature, which I constantly try to override anyway :) So yeah, I guess I can make a fool of myself as well as anyone but I can also sit in the corner and carry on an intimate conversation.I've been the director of a marketing department for a mid-size firm, the vp of the PTO for my son's elementary, sat on the board of a non-profit, and stayed home with the kids for a few years - and I found all of these things equally rewarding.I'm in that "recently divorced" period of my life. Spending as much time as possible with my kids, who I have every other week, filling the rest of my time with work, friends, hobbies, etc. I've managed to stay busy doing things I really enjoy - writing, reading, exercising, dining out, traveling, catching a movie now and then, trying to teach myself photography and improving my culinary skills (trust me - they needed improvement!) so I lead a well-rounded, fulfilling life. I would, however, like to find someone to share it with.I gravitate toward men who are educated, kind, adventurous, spontaneous, passionate and communicative. If you like to dance, that is a definite bonus :) I respect personal time, don't like to play games, and understand that everyone has a past - we're all adults, after all. A glass of wine or a cup of coffee are a perfect first date - if you really have chemistry you can always move on to dinner :)

I love music; I work as a photographer part time in the industry. I get to go to a lot of concerts and have fun. Been doing that for over 20 years now. I do a lot of charity work and I and get to work with a lot of women and men who all have great ideas. I have been moving up the lines into position of being in charge of the groups soon. That has taken a lot of hard work and earned respect. Something that makes me proud but not conceded.I treat everyone with respect and I expect the same back. I try to have great communications skills because I am some who does like to guess or assume what the other person is thinking or feeling. Communication is very important to me.I believe in complete honesty with the person I am with, I believe the more honest you are the less of a possibility to fight or a misunderstanding. I hate fighting; it gets you nowhere, other than hurting the other person. However it does take some time for me to open up, but as the relationship gets stronger I am more open. One problem with most relationships is people do not communicate what it is they need or want from their partners, they assume that person should know. That’s one of my biggest pet peeves is when I hear a someone say, he/she should have known. Well did you ever tell them, they usually say no, he/she just should have known. Sorry I do not read minds so I cannot assume my partner can either.I am pretty much an open book, you can ask me anything and I will answer. I had time to think about this, I know I want a companion in life, someone to talk to and some to share my life with and someone to hang out with. I am looking for something a little more month then 6 months, but marriage I am not sure, the right person would have to come along. Other things I like, I love spending time outdoor, hiking and walking the parks. I always have my camera in hand and love taking photos. I belong to a few of the museums here in town and love spending a few hours there just roaming around and looking. I like trying out new restaurants and bars.
