Hi Guys, I am a busy single mom to my very active boys ages 11 and 15. I love watching them play football, baseball and basketball and I am an active volunteer with their teams. They are with me full time and they are my life. But they are old enough now for me to be able to enjoy some guilt-free ME time.I've been single for 8 years, divorced for 4 and am new to this dating thing - especially the online dating thing. Update: if you have dating "rules", I can only respect them (or not) if I know what they are - that requires communication. I am a BIG fan of communication!My friends tell me I don't know when I am being flirted with. I guess it takes a brick to my head. I just don't like assuming things and then looking foolish. Plus, if one wanted to, one could read something suggestive into just about any conversation. That can be fun - as long as we're on the same page! Humiliating if not!I hate playing the guessing game just TELL ME what's on your mind. That said, I do prefer directness. It CAN be done tactfully, kindly, and with openess and honesty - a must for all my relationships.I am an open book - ask me anything and know that my answers will be completely honest. Not everyone is an open book and that's okay, as long as what you DO put out there is truthful.I can play poker with the best of them but much prefer to lay my cards on the table and think it would be a much nicer world if we all did the same.I wear my heart on my sleeve but am not naive; don't underestimate me ;) I practice living a simple, uncluttered life in the here and now. I would much rather DO things than have things - creating precious memories that last a lifetime. I don't care about your weight, profession, income, motorcycles, boats or cars, how many times you work out a week, or all the places you have been (although a Harley trip would be fun! lol!) I do care if you are kind, compassionate, loving, responsible, respectful, respected, emotionally well-adjusted and generally fun to be around. And you gotta love long, passionate kisses that stop time.Thanks for reading...PS You guys are so damn cute holding up your little (and Big!) fishies with those proud looks on your faces.
