I like to think of myself as being low maintenance and easy going. I prefer jeans and a t-shirt or sweater, though I do like to dress up when the occasion calls for it. Life is too short to be too serious, though I'm practical and serious when needed, I like to laugh, play and have fun. I'm a bit of a home-body and I enjoy cooking & baking, banana bread & chocolate chip pan cookies are my specialties. I spend my free time playing with my son, my dog, and when I have time, working on projects around the house & garden, as well as doing my artwork (yes, I use both sides of my brain), hanging out with my friends, reading, or doing nothing at all. Since I have an energetic six year old doing nothing is a luxury ;) It's the company that matters. I'm a single mom and I have sole custody of my son, so I'm looking for someone who understands this.     Every aspect of my life is dedicated to the search for balance. I am an explorer but revel in my home time. I am somewhat of an introvert but love to dance. I can happily spend a day with my camera absorbing the essence of the sea then just want to bask in the company of true like-minded friends. I love both the country road and the city art gallery. My first date would be ideal somewhere where we could meet over coffee or a margarita and then if we are brew/lime compatible go for a walk to tell each other our best stories.
