Every aspect of my life is dedicated to the search for balance. I am an explorer but revel in my home time. I am somewhat of an introvert but love to dance. I can happily spend a day with my camera absorbing the essence of the sea then just want to bask in the company of true like-minded friends. I love both the country road and the city art gallery. I feel there is not much that a trip to the ocean, a gathering around a fire (maybe with a guitar thrown in for good measure - no not into the fire :-), or a great story can't cure. I sing in the car...Badly...Scarey but true!!!I believe in the power of words, belly-I don't do TV much except when it comes to the Ducks! But I love a great movie, game of Scrabble or rummy, creative meal cooked together, or a silly joke. I believe that honor, magic and beauty are still very much alive in our world. I trust that you do too.OK the rest will wait in balance for another day and per chance a shared cup of great coffee or some caramels...as they are better than the average jelly bean... My first date would be ideal somewhere where we could meet over coffee or a margarita and then if we are brew/lime compatible go for a walk to tell each other our best stories. If not then hey no harm no foul. We still had a great drink with a Brave fellow seeker...

Hi Guys, I am a busy single mom to my very active boys ages 11 and 15. I love watching them play football, baseball and basketball and I am an active volunteer with their teams. They are with me full time and they are my life. But they are old enough now for me to be able to enjoy some guilt-free ME time.I've been single for 8 years, divorced for 4 and am new to this dating thing - especially the online dating thing. It's like feeling my way around in the dark - will you hold the flashlight for me? I don't know the "rules" if there are any, and I probably would not follow them even if I did. Update: if you have dating "rules", I can only respect them (or not) if I know what they are - that requires communication. I am a BIG fan of communication!My friends tell me I don't know when I am being flirted with. I guess it takes a brick to my head. I just don't like assuming things and then looking foolish. Plus, if one wanted to, one could read something suggestive into just about any conversation. That can be fun - as long as we're on the same page! Humiliating if not!I hate playing the guessing game just TELL ME what's on your mind. That said, I do prefer directness. It CAN be done tactfully, kindly, and with openess and honesty - a must for all my relationships.I am an open book - ask me anything and know that my answers will be completely honest. Not everyone is an open book and that's okay, as long as what you DO put out there is truthful.I can play poker with the best of them but much prefer to lay my cards on the table and think it would be a much nicer world if we all did the same.I wear my heart on my sleeve but am not naive; don't underestimate me ;) I practice living a simple, uncluttered life in the here and now. I would much rather DO things than have things - creating precious memories that last a lifetime. I don't care about your weight, profession, income, motorcycles, boats or cars, how many times you work out a week, or all the places you have been (although a Harley trip would be fun! lol!) I do care if you are kind, compassionate, loving, responsible, respectful, respected, emotionally well-adjusted and generally fun to be around. And you gotta love long, passionate kisses that stop time.Thanks for reading...PS You guys are so damn cute holding up your little (and Big!) fishies with those proud looks on your faces.
