About Me

I am an enthusiastic smarty pants who has a very soft side within. I value and appreciate those who have a sense of humor, who can be loyal and trustworthy, and who can share in a good conversation, competition, and make light work of the mundane chores of life. I love a good adventure. I enjoy traveling, and new places to explore, but I also have favorite places that I never tire of going back to. There is a favorite beach in my past that always brings me back to myself - In the not too distant past I have been a competitive biathlon-er, and still enjoy staying fit and active. I have always enjoyed movies, dance as an art form, and the theatre. Two of my favorite recent productions seen were "Wicked" and "Man of La Mancha". If I were to die tomorrow I would feel that I've been blessed to live the life I've lived, but I hope to be around for a good 40 more, and hope to enjoy the company of someone who will humor me and help me embrace all of the REST that life has to offer, because I feel like I am still just getting started! Kids (young or old) are a plus ;***Hopefully you have trained them to be nice). My ideal first date would be to meet at the top of the Empire State Building and zip-line over to the statue of Liberty - haha! Not really. I like a creative soul, and I'm good a coming up with ideas, but for a get to know you date, maybe a walk in a public park and a little refreshment or bite to eat afterwards.

    I like to watch Survivor on Wednesdays, sitcoms, and listening to music of all kinds, especially country. I love the, summer when it is hot and Christmas time in the winter.     I'm at a point now in my life where I'm comfortable with who I am. I'm an easy going person who tries to see the good in everything. I enjoy life and am rarely in a bad mood or down.
