About Me

I just recently started my Masters in Nursing which I'd been considering for a few years. In June I went to the Dominican Republic for a friends wedding, and while sitting on the beach one day, with drink in hand, I found myself pinky swearing with my other girlfriend to go through the program with her. I am such a sucker, lol, but as I am huge believer in life long learning I am excited to see where this next phase in life will lead me. I love to laugh and enjoy time with my two amazing daughters, friends, family. I'm a mix between a homebody and adventurer. I love to travel (day trips, domestic and international), go to a Giants game, ride the ferry to the city, listen to music on the town green and spend time at the lake with friends in the summer. I believe we are what we think and that what we tell the mirror is who we become. I believe in responsibility and accountability. I believe in the power of touch and that touch should always be loving. I believe in doing what's right, even if you don't want to. I believe laughter is the best stress reliever and should be used as often as possible. I believe in love, hugs , kisses, snuggling, and warm fuzzies. Well, that about covers the basics. I'm an open book so just send a note if you want to know more. The first date as in date date?? Or the first "meet". The first meet is definitely simple - a walk, drink (hot or cold), a stroll through a farmers market, candy store ( I think you can learn a lot about someone by the kind if candy they like :***or sit on a bench in a park and people watch. As for the first date? That can be decided later... Just make me laugh and pretty much anything goes.

    I’m not sure why I am doing this again, I must be crazy. I really don’t think that anyone on this site is really looking for a long term relationship, but I am hoping that there will be one that will prove me wrong. What is the saying, prepare for the worst but hope for the best? That pretty much sums up my attitude on the whole meetville experience. And please, please, please, look like your pictures. I really don’t care what you looked like 10 years ago; I want to know what you look like now. I know guys have this same complaint about women posting old pictures, but you can be assured, all my pictures were taken within the past 2 months. We’re not doing anyone a favor by posting old pictures and then when you show up to meet, there is *** right off the bat if you look nothing like what we thought going in.With that being said, I am not a super-model by any stretch of the imagination, I am just your average girl next door type. I think I am a genuinely good person and I am looking for a guy that knows how to treat a lady and is ready to give up this site and not always looking for the next best thing. Ok, I think my rant is over and if you haven’t run screaming from my profile by now thinking I’m a complete wacko, let’s move on to some fun facts about me.1. I love to watch football, specifically the NY Jets (not something I’m proud of, but it is what it is and I’m loyal to the end) I would love nothing more than to spend my Sunday’s (and Monday nights, if possible) watching football with that someone special.2. I really enjoy singing in the car at the top of my lungs.3. I’m extremely ticklish, especially my feet, touch them and you may get kicked in the face (you’ve been warned)4. My favorite color is purple5. I love meatloaf6. If I’m having a bad day, listening to music relaxes me7. I sometimes dance like a fool in my kitchen when no ones watching.8. I recently had my first pedicure. It didn’t go well (see #3 above). I was assured it wouldn’t tickle, they lied.9. I was born and raised in IL10. My favorite flowers are peach roses (love the way they smell).11. My best friend is my dog. I wish humans were capable of such loyalty and unconditional love.12. I sometimes serenade my dog. I don’t sing very well, but I think he likes it. 13. I don’t like scary movies unless I’m with my significant other and can hide my face in his chest during the icky gory parts.14. I’m not afraid of PDA and if I like you, I will want to touch you, a lot. I enjoy holding hands, hugging, and kissing.15. I enjoy getting random texts throughout the day that you are thinking about me. It makes me smile :o)16. Summer is my favorite season and winter is my least favorite.17. I really love roller coasters and have gotten season passes to Great Adventure the past few years. I would love to have a roller coaster buddy, but if you’re not into them, you can always hold my stuff while I ride :o)Well, that’s about all I can think of right now. If I haven’t scared you off or totally bored you to death with my fun facts and you want to know more, just ask. A first date doesn't have to be anything extravagant. One of my best first dates was just meeting in a park and walking around for a few hours taking and getting to know each other. Even though the guy didn't work out, it was still a great first date.
