Woman. 48 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.
Looking for: man. In age: 45-55
I divorced three years ago after a long term marriage. While I'd prefer to meet men the old fashioned way, through work, church and friends, I'm in a position where I don't have the opportunity to meet a lot of new people, which is why I'm on this on-line dating site. Some day I’d like to get married again, but I'm not in a rush.I come from a close knit and loving family who raised me well by *** morals, values faith, and work ethic, and I've been blessed with two wonderful children who have graduated from high school. My son still lives with me during these first couple of years of college, and my daughter is on her own and is fairly self sufficient. I've owned my business as an insurance adjuster for 8 years and I love what I do, but it keeps me busy. I enjoy the beach, motorcycle rides, boating, art shows, cruises, camping, roller coasters, and I'm always willing to try something new. The kids and I will try skydiving in the near future. The newest thing in my life is my discovery of CrossFit. I've never been athletic, but one time is all it took, and I'm addicted. I try to work out 5x a week, and the changes in my body, my eating habits, my energy level, my attitude and my self confidence have amazed me. So what do I find attractive in a man? What am I looking for? A Christian who shares my values. A man who treats me with respect (and that goes both ways), and has old fashioned manners, knows how to laugh, a natural romantic, and is established with a career and home. Faithfulness and honesty is a must (and that also goes both ways). Fitness and fairly healthy eating is part of who I am now so it's important to me that we share this. (although admittedly, I do love chocolate!) And, if you can cook, you get brownie points because I have a tendency to burn things :) And to be perfectly honest, because we all should be on here...I don't do drama, I'm not into mind games, nor do I have the energy or patience to deal with a highly-emotional personality (been there, done that, divorced it). Nor do I want to deal with baggage like psycho ex wives or custody fights. It could be as simple as a walk through an art show or window shopping through a quaint downtown area, or a glass of wine in a little pub with a band, or maybe dinner and drinks. Something that would give us the chance to talk and get to know each other.

Woman. 47 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.
Looking for: man. In age: 44-54
I just recently started my Masters in Nursing which I'd been considering for a few years. In June I went to the Dominican Republic for a friends wedding, and while sitting on the beach one day, with drink in hand, I found myself pinky swearing with my other girlfriend to go through the program with her. I am such a sucker, lol, but as I am huge believer in life long learning I am excited to see where this next phase in life will lead me. I love to laugh and enjoy time with my two amazing daughters, friends, family. I'm a mix between a homebody and adventurer. I love to travel (day trips, domestic and international), go to a Giants game, ride the ferry to the city, listen to music on the town green and spend time at the lake with friends in the summer. I believe we are what we think and that what we tell the mirror is who we become. I believe in responsibility and accountability. I believe in the power of touch and that touch should always be loving. I believe in doing what's right, even if you don't want to. I believe laughter is the best stress reliever and should be used as often as possible. I believe in love, hugs , kisses, snuggling, and warm fuzzies. Well, that about covers the basics. I'm an open book so just send a note if you want to know more. The first date as in date date?? Or the first "meet". The first meet is definitely simple - a walk, drink (hot or cold), a stroll through a farmers market, candy store ( I think you can learn a lot about someone by the kind if candy they like :***or sit on a bench in a park and people watch. As for the first date? That can be decided later... Just make me laugh and pretty much anything goes.
