About Me

Over the last several years I've learned, for the most part, you can not take yourself or much of life too seriously. I work hard and am passionately committed to my faith, my son and my small circle of friends/family. Life is meant to live and enjoy embracing the joy of life, even amidst the "chaos".Based on some of the messages I've received on here, I feel the need to make a couple points of clarification so nobody, including me, wastes their time. I typically don't answer messages without images. It has nothing to do with judging a book by its cover, rather it feels like I'm communicating with somebody who's hiding part of themselves and that's uncomfortable and unattractive to me. In addition, I have no interest in random hook ups or sexting. No disrespect to anyone utilizing this site for such, it's just not who I am and those messages are uncomfortable. Ok...clarifications made! I look forward to meeting new friends and wish anyone reading this much luck and success! First dates are kind of awkward by nature. In my opinion, an ideal first date is something that enables enough interaction to get a good sense of the person I'm spending my time with and potential chemistry.     Having children has opened my eyes to many different outdoor activities which are enjoyable, such as, summer days at the beach, camping with my brother and his family in tents, hiking on the local trails, biking, fresh water fishing, gardening, motorcycling, watching local sporting events, festivals, picnicing. I'm sure that list could include many more. Indoors I like, bowling but trust me I'm not a pro, gamlbling-only small amounts of money, dining out, going to the movies or watching one on the couch. I can become engrossed in acrylic painting, drawing naturistic scenes and wandering around museums. Good conversation is always a plus.and it's nice to hear what goes on in another's daily routine over dinner. Did I mention that I'm an excellent cook. Some of my goals are to further my education to the Masters level. Dinner is always great but not the most fun activity.Amusement parks, bowling, water fire or a museum are other interactive ideas. I think the movies, concerts and live theatre are bad choices because there is no interaction. I'm sure where ever you choose will be just fine.
