Over the last several years I've learned, for the most part, you can not take yourself or much of life too seriously. I work hard and am passionately committed to my faith, my son and my small circle of friends/family. In my opinion, an ideal first date is something that enables enough interaction to get a good sense of the person I'm spending my time with and potential chemistry. I am by no means an average body type. I don't think I would like to be in that category anyway because I'm happy (for the most part except those few extra pounds lol) with my body. So I will just leave it at I am very curvy. Did that scare you away? Well, it should have. ;)One fact about me...,.I don't need a man. Now, let me explain that. I have never been married so I have pretty much been on my own most of my life. Yes, I have dated but I have never lived with anyone. So that means I'm very independent. I own my house (and have for the last 15 years), I have a great car, a wonderful job that I love and I think I have a good head on my shoulders. I don't have any debt or baggage. I'm not into drama and not looking for any drama. I don't fight, disagree maybe, but that's it. We are all adults so let's talk about what's wrong, kiss and make up because that's the fun part ;) and then move on. Life is too short to dwell on the little stuff. I don't hold grudges and I hate to clean. So back to my original point. I don't need a man because I can definitely take care of myself. However, I WANT a man. I want to love and feel loved. I want to spoil my man and be spoiled by him. I want to wake up everyday anticipating a new day with him. I don't want to take him for granted and I want to encourage him to be the man he wants to be. I want to be his best friend and for him to know that he is special and I only have eyes for him. I want him to know that when he looks at me across a room, that I get goosebumps just from that look. Hi ya! I joined this page because my son is on it & he told me to give it a try. I am a single Mom to the most amazing sons in the world who will always come first in my life, ages 24 & 12 . If you are a Dad, I expect that your kids will also come first in your life. I am very shy at first but once you get to know me, you will realise I have verbal diarrhea! Lol. I love spending time on my back patio to bbq for family & friends and have a fire at night. I am too old for drama, head games and guys that don't have their s*it together. I foster animals for the Humane Society & do what I can to make a difference. I have gone from waist length hair to bald to raise money for Make A Wish & donated my hair to Locks Of Love because my friend's 16 year old daughter had a very rare form of cancer. Unfortunately she passed away the week before I did it.
