Moved from SC about 3 years ago, southern accent included! Just getting out of a 3 year relationship. Not looking for anything serious, just looking to date, not adverse to a relationship down the road. I'm a night owl, I work nights and like to chat late. Please don't ask to speak on phone shortly after contacting me, phone # exchange is fine AFTER interest is established and meeting is imminent, I use *** hangouts to chat outside this arena. Meet for coffee/tea...we will save the bungee jumping and running with the bulls for later...

A little about me... Life. In my eyes it is a gift. I have been very fortunate. I have enjoyed the finest of opportunities and experiences and, the not so fine. Either way I am grateful for them. I am not sure this is the way to go for me to find a partner in my life, but I suppose it is worth one more attempt. so here goes something... maybe. I enjoy Travel and have taken myself around the world to many beautiful places. I have always enjoyed travel and will glean many valuble experiences yet. It is my hope I will find someone who will enjoy these expeditions with me. Many places in the world to see.... I do like to call BC home though. Hobbies. Work seems to get in the way quite often, but when I can I fit in most anything that is possible I have tried many sports and they continue to keep me busy be it snowboarding, baseball, ATV's, swimming or a good trek thru East Sooke park. I like to stay active but it is not beyond me to have a day of mindless T.V. and a comfy couch or a good book. Family. Is important to me. We visit when we can and are close. I hope to find one who is interested in a partner to experience all life has to offer. All the best in your search.

I am ready to move onto the next chapter of my life. I believe that friendship is the basis to a lasting relationship. I want to get out there, have loads of fun, and do some dating! Ultimately I am looking for a long-term relationship and am sincerely hoping that this journey will bring me to the “one”. I am looking for someone who will bring out the best in me and someone that I can hopefully do the same for. This person doesn’t have to a be a perfect man, just perfect for me! I am not just looking for love, but a best friend - someone who I enjoy being with more than anyone else, someone who makes my face hurt from smiling and my belly hurt from laughing. I am looking for a partner who very much values family. Honesty, trustworthy, and integrity are character traits that I feel I possess and expect in my partner as well. I feel passionate about nature, animals, and the environment - my t.v. is most commonly left on National Geographic or Animal Planet.....it’s spectacular!), and some of the wonders of the world. The beauty of our planet truly amazes me! I would love to travel more - not a lot - but 1 or 2 trips a year for a break from the winter weather or to locations such as above. I don’t really desire to visit a place twice.....my attitude is that there is so much of the world to see, why would you want to go to the same place??My work week is busy with my kids and teaching and so on the weekends I like to do more low key kinds of things (this is not to say that I don’t like to whoop it up now and then - life has to stay fun and exciting!) This being said, I enjoy trying new restaurants followed by a quite walk around the area. I have great friends who have awesome husbands so getting together with them for dinner and drinks is always a good time. I enjoy attending local festivals such as Grape and Wine in St.). I like watching movies in theatres or in the quiet of my home. I love the music of the 80's and 90's and very much enjoy going to concerts. Jacobs, Collingwood, etc., are fun with or without the kids. The things that make me smile are my kids, my dog, and my students. My kids are my life - I have a 9 year old girl who is beautiful, funny, creative, energetic, and smart. I also have a boy who is ***he is smart, handsome, hilarious, and loves sports such as hockey and football. My dog is also something that makes me smile. Lucy, like all dogs, loves unconditionally - she is always waiting at the door with her tail wagging, excited to see us home. My students also make me smile - grade one is a very challenging grade to change to teach but when I see how much I have taught them and how far they have come in June, it makes me feel so proud.I am happy and content with my life, so I am not in any rush to date the world. Remember love is something you give, not go shopping for! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile - good luck in your quest for love. I have bungee jumped and did a ***ft. Anyone interested?
