About Me

I am a happy person by nature. I like to enjoy life and avoid drama. I enjoy cooking and baking and my down time is often spent reading. I am also a sport nut and love Jayhawk basketball (March Madness is my favorite time of year) and NFL football and NCAA football. I am told I have a great sense of humor- I like to make people laugh. I am a kind, sincere, compassionate, affectionate person and enjoy smiling at strangers just in the hopes it might brighten their day. I enjoy spending time with my family. I like the outdoors- boating and camping are some of my favorite activities. I have 4 children 16, twins 14 and my youngest is 9 and they keep me very busy and are the light of my life (Update: My oldest 3 children are bi-racial so if you have a problem with that please stop reading now. I am tired of chatting with men that claim to be nice only to have them completely lose interest once that find that out. A judgmental man is the last thing I am looking for!). I attend church weekly and my faith is very important to me. I believe God has a plan for everyone and He is with me in this journey to find Mr. Right.I'd like to find Mr. Right...someone that can prove to me that chivalry is not dead. That special guy that I know I am truly safe with in all aspects- physically, spiritually and emotionally. That person that allows me to be me and loves me because I am me. Someone that also enjoys the simple things in life. Negativity is a huge turnoff to me. I believe that no matter how dark any given day is there is something positive that can be found in it. I'd like to find someone that I can talk to about a huge variety of topics. I'd like that someone special that would enjoy spending time with me sitting in the stands as I cheer on my children in their various sporting events. I'd like to sit beside him and cheer his children on too. I'd like to find a man of strong christian faith, someone that knows how to truly love another person because he lives his life by the example set my Jesus. All of the things I described above is what I have to offer and are how I will treat Mr. Right when I finally meet him!!!I am not desperate for a man and am completely content being single. I am 5'11" I realize I am immediately discounting some very fine men because of their height and for that I am sorry but I know what I want and I know what I like. Also, if you are looking for a woman interested in casual sex you are not going to find that in me so please look elsewhere for that!UPDATE: Guys- when a profile says that I "avoid drama" please take that to heart. If you have a habit of being overly dramatic, display stalkerish type behavior, are needy and need constant reassurance then I am NOT interested so please don't waste my time! A nice dinner would be great because every lady likes to get dressed up but also a simple walk and a nice picnic. Even a game of mini golf or a go-cart race...it just doesn't matter as long as he is a gentleman.
