After a 12 year hiatus, I returned to college a few years ago and obtained my bachelor's degree in December ***. That was a MAJOR accomplishment. But it would definitely give both parties a sense of how passionate the other person is. A quick road trip to an exciting festival or attraction in the next town over would also be a good chance to talk and get to know one another, as well as interact in a low-key, no pressure atmosphere.
