About Me

I grew up in a small town with old school family values and a strong work ethic. The best memories as a child was on my grandparent's farm! My biggest passion is wine! I feel so at home in a vineyard. I am not ashamed to enjoy a box wine either! Those are easier to have while boating! I mostly prefer sitting around a bonfire with friends rather than going out. Love a fun road trip! I love to try new restaurants and different bars/pubs. The best ones are usually the hole-in-the-wall places. I really want to travel more when I get a chance so I can see what is else out there to experience. Love to visit museums and anything historical. My taste in music is mostly country but I enjoy mostly anything from the 80s and 90s. I am looking for a down home and a good ole country boy type!!). I guess it's the lifestyle that I know and understand most. Feels like home!! But what i am really looking for is someone that is fun, open minded, independent and is very dependable. Laughter is really important to me too! I find humor very attractive. Someone that is close to their family and likes spending time with them. Love a family man! I am also pretty tall, even without the heels on. So I am looking for a tall guy which is very important for me because I love wearing heels!! He has to be over 6 feet tall. Last BF was 6' 8"!!! Loved it!! I do need physical attraction and chemistry together for anything to continue. Would love it if I found someone who enjoys wine as much as I do. Hoping they are also comfortable in any social setting.I do love being single & my independence is very important to me. I do keep pretty busy. But I do hope to find someone to settle down with but not having to just settle. I want to take thing slow to see where things go. Tired of the games and have no interest for any 'hook-ups' either. Old fashion values a must!! Searching for the same qualities that my father and grandfather provided to my mom and grandmother. I learned by their example so my standards are pretty high when it comes to that. (So, Be the man you would want your daughter to be with or your son to become!!). I do know exactly who I am looking for but not sure if he actually exists. A perfect first meeting for me is somewhere that is quiet and having a good conversation with a bottle of wine. Love having drinks on a patio on a perfect evening. Even a brewery is fun too! A coffee house is good as well! I am a pretty simple and down to earth woman. I am pretty open to almost anything that is a quiet so we can get to know each other to see if things click.Then after a great meeting:I perfect first date could be wine tasting at a local winery then a picnic in the vineyard. A visit to a zoo or a museum. Bowling (only sport that i am good at) and pizza. Mini Golf. I know they are hard to find now, but to fill the back of a pick up truck with tons of pillows and blankets and head to a Drive In movie place to catch a couple movies with a huge container of popcorn. Or you can surprise me!

    I'm a low maintence kind of girl looking for a low maintence kind of guy. I have no problem throwing on flip flops and a baseball hat to go out somewhere(I do clean up nicely every once in a while..lol!!). I love sports- especially college basketball- go UK Cats!! My first love will always be basketball(I played my whole life through 2 yrs of college) but I started to follow hockey last year and am disappointed the Thrashers are gone :( I am a basketball junkie but love going to any live sporting event. My biggest goal right now is to spend more time working on my house and yard. I don't really like the typical "dinner date" for the first date. Much prefer a casual atmoshphere like a walk in the park, margaritas on a patio, or something fun like games at Dave & Busters.
