I believe in love and tend to be a romantic which is one of the reasons I am giving this another try. I am hoping to finally end my search for love . I believe that things in life happen for a reason. This took me a while to figure out but I finally got it. I have experienced a lot in my life and believe it has made me the person I am today. I haven't been in a relationship in a little bit now, and miss it. I love being in love, who doesn't? I want to have that can't stop thinking about you feeling again. I am looking for a man to share my life with. Someone who will compliment me and grow with me in life and love. I am looking for someone who will accept me for who I am. I am very loyal and honest. I expect the same in a partner. Somtimes people don't like how honest I am because at times the truth hurts. I am a single mom of 2 wonderful boys. I am a teacher for the city and love my job on most days. I love to cook, travel, watch movies, listen to music, watch documentries about health, social issues and war. I have a thing for horror movies and underground hip hop and old school hip hop. I also love tattoos and have several. I am very independent and can at times be head strong, in the sense that I speak up for things I believe in. I joke around and love to make others laugh, despite the fact that at times I am corny. When I was younger I was a liberal but have found as I have gotten older to have many conservative viewpoints. I love our country and believe everyone who lives here should feel the same. I try to be the best person I can be each and everyday. I take care of myself both in my body and my mind and expect the same in a partner. I try to be healthy but am not a health fanatic. I like to eat and drink and be merry and have fun. I love to spend time with family and having days to just do nothing. I also like visiting museums, concerts, parks etc. If you are interested in learning more I look forward to hearing from you if not then good luck on your search. Dinner or drinks. Someplace where we can sit and talk and see if there is enough chemistry to have a second date.

Hey-oI'm a workaholic who also loves to have fun as much as possible. I laugh a lot, pretty loudly. I make off color jokes. I swear too much. I enjoy simple stuff when not crazy with work; walking the dogs, a little non-extreme biking around town, happy hour, dinner with friends, beaches & swimming. I am an annoying ass morning person. 5am is the best time of day for me, and I like to spend it alone drinking coffee and hanging out in my head for a bit before the chaos of the day begins. I can be ready to travel in 5 minutes to anyplace in the world and I'm down to do so at any minute. Prefer hotel rooms to tents, lived all over the country and in Europe for a spell. I dunno, is that enough info? Let's meet for a drink and gab. Preferably at a dive bar and preferably with a few shots of whiskey involved. I think movie dates are stupid and dinner is cool but before I commit to sitting across from you for an hour or two I'd like to belly up to the bar and see how you handle yourself

It is very important to me to find someone who, in most aspects, has the same ideals, beliefs, morals, and outlook on life as I do. That is obviously something we'll have to talk first to find out if we think alike ;)I only have an AS, but I am not stupid. I do not believe that a piece of paper defines our level of intelligence. I have met people with doctorates who are dumb as a box of rocks, and some of the most intelligent people I know are high school dropouts. Like a zombie, brains are important to me. But "telling" me how smart you are weighs about as much as a feather on the grand scale of things. REALLY bad grammar/spelling is also pretty annoying ;)I think humor is one of the most important things in life. Even on my worst days, I still find one thing to laugh about at some point. So, I am seeking a funny guy... not a funny looking guy... but a guy who is funny. If you make me laugh without trying to hard, I actually don't care if you are funny looking, too.Have a job. Have a car. Don't live with your parent(s) unless it is extremely temporary and under some dire circumstances. Please don't still be in school unless you do it on top of working full time. If you have a grower's card and are "self-employed," I'm also not interested. I am not a fan of excessive hair. I didn't like beards before they were trendy, and I still don't like them. Back hair is a major offense. Hey, I bet you don't like chicks with armpit and leg hair, am I right?I have a lot of tattoos, like 20+. If you don't like tattoos on women, I am not the droid you are looking for. Also, it is not essential, but if you have tattoos yourself, that is a huge plus for me. Again, it's not a requirement, just a preference.I just had a major back surgery eight weeks ago, so while I am generally very active and an avid runner, I am on some serious restrictions right now. Please be understanding that I'm healing and won't be able to go mountain climbing with you until at least Spring ;-) Lunch or an after-work drink or something creative yet short... first date should be like 2 hours max (I read somewhere that long first dates tend to make people not crave a 2nd date)
