I'm a single mom with 3 amazing kids. I'm not looking for anything serious at first, am totally willing to take my time. I've been divorced twice (I'm so awesome, I know) and don't plan on making it 3. Not afraid of commitment, just prefer to take my time now. A few things though, to consider:nothing personal, I prefer to date caucasian only. Just a preference for me. My faith in God is very strong. I'm not what you consider a "Bible thumper" but I do believe and live accordingly. So if you're an athiest or anything other, I'm really not interested. I have a couple of tattoos...don't mind a couple. But if you're arms, chest or any other body part is covered or you could be considered a tattoo enthusiast, I'm probably not interested. And sorry guys, I prefer to date close to my age. Players and serial daters need not apply. Yes, I have to add this. I've lost both of my parents and have learned that life is short. You have to live and take chances and make things happen, they're not going to just do it on their own. And I'm not afraid of a little excitement, road less traveled or taking a few chances. My father was a HUGE comedian, adored him! Always made me laugh. He passed his sense of humor down to me and of course, my kids are the same. I love to laugh! I don't like to be around negative people. Again, life is too short to dwell on negative things, I prefer to see the positive. I don't care for overly critical people either. No one is perfect, thank goodness, and I'm far from it. But I don't need to be told constantly either. I believe in accepting and learning from all of our differences. No one's way is the ultimate RIGHT way, it's the right way for THEM. I'm perfectly capable of agreeing to disagree. I love getting to know new people and hear their outlook on life and how it's different. I would never judge or put down someone for believing or feeling different than me. Something else my parents taught me. I'm full of compassion, affectionate (love to cuddle, love that subtle touch when passing by each other) and totally goofy. It's just me. I would definitely NOT be described as a stick in the mud, however, I am very classy. I don't mind picnics, watching movies at home, but I do love to dress up and go have a great evening! (minus the kids, haha)If this hasn't scared ya off, YAY me! Better be more than dinner and a movie, please...at our age it's been done to death. Get creative!

Hi :)I’m a confident woman & I have a good sense of where I’m going in life. I’m not offended by a joke & can dish out one of my own! I’m independent but far from being a feminist. Sarcasm is the spice of life, so bring it on! I truly have amazing friends & family & they’re a big part of my life. I enjoy going out & trying a new restaurant as much as I like to stay in to cook a meal together at home. I like watching a good movie & snuggling by a fire. I'm not into the bar scene anymore. I much prefer to be around a bonfire with good friends or family or hang out at a local pub sipping a pint!I like to watch UFC, boxing & hockey. GO JETS GO! Skating is fun! I enjoy a nice walk around the neighborhood or at the park.I volunteer at an animal shelter. Even though I'm in tears a lot just hearing about how these little guys ended up there, I love giving my time to them & hope my TLC makes a difference :)I love lake life! Although I don’t have a cabin of my own, it is definitely a goal of mine in the future. I find it to be so relaxing & rejuvenating to be out of the city and surrounded by nature. I’d contemplate giving up my baby toe (haha) just to be able to fall asleep listening to the loons out on the lake each night. Camping is fun, but I need to be able to have a shower each day (I’m not a “princess”). I love funny guys who can hold me spellbound with a story or make me laugh until I cry. The right man not only fascinates me but also brings out the best in me. We push each other to be the greatest people we can be. If you're comfortable in your own skin, have a strong sense of self & aren't afraid to expose your flaws, I'm sure we'll get along just fine. Honesty, trust & monogamy are very important qualities to me. I love a guy who gives hugs :) I spent 2 years teaching abroad which gave me the travel bug! I hope to travel with my special someone. It would be nice to find someone I can kick back and relax with over conversation, wine and a good album playing in the background :) Things I can't live without:~ my friends & family~ nature~great sips & good eats!~ Christmas time~my pillow & memory foam topperI've recently made a lifestyle change to improve my health. I have changed my eating habits and now go to the gym 5 days a week.
