With thatthat being said, if you have a temper or any kind of anger issues, I have ZERO TOLERANCE, I've already been in that type of relationship, and I won't do it again. I am also tipping the scale at about 170lbs so if that is "too big" I understand. Between being onon my feet for 9 plus hours per day and then chasing my son around, I just don't feel motivated to keep paying for my gym membership! (just can't seem to shake the baby weight!) I learned from my ex that I neither enjoy watching, nor participating in any kind of motorsports. After nearly being dumped off the back of a hayabusa, I have no desire to ever get on the back of another bike, I have too much to live for. I can find humor in almost anything, and I haven't quite figured out if I should seek someone just as goofy, or someone who can balance me out. I speak what is on my mind, there is no filter between my brain and mouth... honesty and respect are very important to me. I really don't enjoy being outside from about May to September... I really like air conditioning. I really dislike hangovers, so I don't drink a whole lot anymore. Another fun fact about me... when my ex bailed, he got to take one of my 2 dogs (which is fine, because she always pooped on the rug so it was a blessing in disguise) and took everything but the bills with him. One could say that I am not financially where I wanted to be at my age, which is extremely embarassing, but better that it comes out now that I couldn't finance the steam off of a hotdog, than wasting your time if you were looking for someone "financially secure," right? I know I sound like a "bitter party of one," but I am much happier now, and out of the absolute worst thing that has happened to me, came the best thing that has ever happened to me (my son) so I have hardly any regrets. I am not much of a snuggler.

    Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I come with a great Mid- I am divorced with a beautiful 10-year old son who is the greatest, so right there I am looking for a man who loves kids, has them or wants them. We just returned from three months overseas traveling through Europe and the Middle East. I took a nice break from work to travel the world and smell the roses. I believe in the 40 hour work week( or less if possible) and I love my weekends to go out of town, the beach or just enjoy the city like I am a tourist each time. A secure man that is confident in his actions and yet is not afraid to just be himself. I take everyday as it comes and do not look to the past with regrets or hindrance.     Life is good. It’s really good. There’s just one component missing. The perfect guy. Perfect *for me*, anyway… Perfection in general is boring and overrated. (Handsome, witty, sweet and a gentleman, though? Not overrated.:)Here’s the thing though… A lot of guys’ meetville profiles mention that they want someone who can “keep up” with them, and I am not looking for someone to keep up with or to keep up with me. I have a lot going on already. In addition to working quite a bit, we live in an incredible city; it’s hard not to want to be out exploring it every second of the day! Sporting events, the lakefront, restaurants, bars, museums… I’m looking to meet someone who will give me a reason to slow things down a bit. It would be super to meet someone who also has a great life and who will invite me to be a part of it and support whatever he’s into, but we don't have to share every interest or be out every night of the week together.… Fantastic! I’ll go out for wine night with the girls or stay in and read a book (dare I dream) and we’ll both be happy. But ideally, somewhere in the middle we’ll decide to stay in together and we’ll realize we don’t need to be “out and about” all the time to enjoy life in this city. Looking for a balance.I’m pretty well over the bar scene and 30, 40 and 50-something guys who are re-living college. Unfortunately that’s what my dating pool seems to have dwindled to but I am hopeful and optimistic that there is at least one guy left in the city who has grown up in lifestyle but isn’t afraid of getting a little silly with the right girl.Some additional facts you may or may not find useful:- I ditched my car about a year ago and am loving car-free life, so if you live outside the range of the CTA it could be tricky.-Though I am educated and have built a nice career and lifestyle for myself, I come from a very blue collar background downstate and carry those values with me. I like nice things, but I like great experiences more. - I have a cat.- I can be a bit of a contradiction.
