Hello and thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I come with a great Mid- I am divorced with a beautiful 10-year old son who is the greatest, so right there I am looking for a man who loves kids, has them or wants them. We just returned from three months overseas traveling through Europe and the Middle East. I took a nice break from work to travel the world and smell the roses. I believe in the 40 hour work week( or less if possible) and I love my weekends to go out of town, the beach or just enjoy the city like I am a tourist each time. If I could, my dream job would be to work for a travel show so I could constantly travel the world to learn about the history and cultures of different countries, and get paid for it. So what could be better? Having someone with me who loves to do the same. If you enjoy traveling, the arts, sports, dressing up, dressing down, being lazy on Sunday morning, driving up the coast, getting your hands dirty every once in awhile, eating a greasy burger in a dive bar, enjoying a glass of wine with a view, know what a mall looks like and the inside of The Home Depot, not afraid to enjoy life while working for a secure life, then you are what I am looking for. A secure man that is confident in his actions and yet is not afraid to just be himself. I take everyday as it comes and do not look to the past with regrets or hindrance. I have a lot of energy and feel passionate about living each day in a positive way, even though some of the days that come our way can be pretty average. I definitely want a partner that has their own interests and isn't looking for someone to put in their pocket. I always make time for those important to me but like a balance between friends, family and relationships.....I have shared custody of my very cool daughter and she has a great dad so I'm not looking for a replacement, just a partner for myself to walk through this life with and laugh along the way. I'm a high school special education teacher and love what I get to do each day. I would like a partner that has their own career and are in a good life and was space. I like to stay fit with long distance running and want a partner that is fit as well. I think that you can have a good time anywhere if you are with the right person. Sharing a meal and a drink is a great way to get to know someone and find out if you are on the same page. Doing something interactive like bowling, mini golf, hiking etc. can take the pressure of the first date intensity away and gives you something to do while you get to know each other. And if you are doing something outside, it's easier to run away if the date is awful.... Just kidding, but seriously.....an escape route never hurt anybody :)

This 'Dancing Queen' is 'Amie' and 'Who Are You'?So, if you've made it this far I hope you have a smile on your face and I can tell you a little more about myself. Obviously humor is important to me! My decision to sign up on here was to meet some guys, explore the area and have some fun! Obviously it takes time to get to know someone and I would want a great friendship to possibly develop into a committed relationship, but I am not in a rush and want to make sure that person is the best match for me and I'm the best match for them. I don't have kids, I got married with the hopes that I would but I don't and I'm okay with the fact that I may not. So, if you have kids, great if you are unsure about kids, me too, and if you don't want kids, well that may work for me as well. I enjoy quiet evenings at home just as much as evenings out. I enjoy decorating and working on projects in my new house. I like to get dressed up but can also get my hands dirty. I am the same size I was in high school and try to eat right and take care of myself but I don't believe in depriving oneself of life's pleasures! I like spending time outside, could be just sitting on the patio with a drink, huffing it up a mountain or throwing logs on the campfire. I like to think I'm adventurous and am open to new experiences and meeting new people. Never hurts to meet someone over a drink or cup of coffee. Drinks or coffee is always a good option, should be a quiet place where you can actually hear each other!
